Wow I hate EB Games. I went to EB Games to buy a sealed brand new copy of Sonic Unleashed for the PS2. The guy starts to ring me up and its almost done when I noticed that the game isnt sealed. I told him thats not my game is it. He said that it was. I said that its not sealed and I dont want used and that its a gift. He said that it wasnt used. So we started to argue and I told him I wanted to just void the sale. He put my credit card through anyways. Unbelievable. I wanted to break his face. I told him to let me speak to his manager. The manager claims he voided it and that it should be back in my account in a few days. Then he offered to reshrinkwrap the game for me and I told him f%#k you. I called up my bank and they said if it still goes through to call them up and theyll file a dispute. Until then Im out 35 bucks. People wonder why they get their faces smashed every now and then. I know Gamestop has been known to do this too but Ive never had them just put my card through.

There's a lot to hate about EB Games and Gamestop. I won't go into why but I have had a couple of bad experiences with them-- that was all it took for me to avoid them altogether. I go to Amazon for my games now. No tax and free shipping. Redfield |

EB and Gamestop are they same company have been for over a year. I agree, their service sucks. Their only thing that separates them from other companies is the ability to trade in games but they don't even give a fair trade value. They give you like $25 for a new release that they are going to sell for $55, $50 is a person has their stupid membership card that you have to pay for. They should be paying out $40-$45 for a previously played copy of a game they are going to price at $55.
ryanOn top of the bad service, when you do buy a used game it's usually scratched or you can't even find what you are looking for in most cases they don't order enough copies of new releases, and they don't keep their store organized at all, game cases are rarely where they should be.
I mostly shop online or at walmart/fry's/bestbuy now. Personally I wish publishers would sell games at the price retailers buy them on their websites which is usually about 20% less than what we pay in the store, I would much rather just give my money directly to the company that releases it at a discount and cut out the middle man than have to go to the store.
