A veteran Hunter welcomes a new hunter, Angel, to our hunting party. A month long quest for a copy of MHF2 ended when Angel opens his Christmas gift from his gf. It took him a while to make his character, but he is officially playing now.
Typically, I only play with the few individuals that can get to my place to hunt: ShadyGuy, Tommy, Ghost, Vlasky, Zepher, Zeke and now Angel. I tried the wifi route twice and met with two people that used cheats, so now I just stick to my group on weekends and hunting for crowns during the week. Ghost announces his success in beating, 'The Final Invitation." Tommy finished it a week earlier, and his wife recounts the victory, "I heard a loud scream from the other room and raced to find Tommy dancing in a circle holding his PSP above his head and shouting, Yes, yes, I did it."
Two noobs, although very adept video game players, have completed what I cannot. It is time to try again. Using Yuffie's method, I slept the first - three times. Twice, I managed to successfully bomb, the third time - I woke it prematurely with the combo completion. Ten minutes are soon up and here comes his giant friend. I feel that one or two more sleep hits will put the first one under, so I concentrate on it. To my surprise, it dies. Now, only one left. I utilize the infamous hit and roll tactics, and manage to sleep bomb it twice.
So intent on the battle, I am startled by the large 10 minutes left message covering my view. Look out! Rajang gets a free hit as the time limit registers on my brain. The minutes are ticking and my healing supplies are exhausted. I also messed up in making and placing the bombs. Feverishly, I avoid another attack and decide to try and capture it. I still have a shock trap and the tranqs. I manage to get the trap down and avoid a death blow. Low on health and stamina, I circle the trap.
Finally, it springs and giant one is snared in the shock trap. I toss one and then another tranq bomb at it. I don't believe it...it works...the joyous victory music wells up as tears to my eyes. Thank God! I finally managed to beat the dual rajang quest.
