I am with all of you on a new Darkstalkers game. If a new Darkstalkers game ever happens to be announced, I'll definitely posting blogs on the game 24/7 and this year is Darkstalkers 15th Anniversary and Udon is bringing the Tribute artbook for the fans (us).


PS: I wonder if fans at Japan are demanding the same thing as us. Anyway, let's keep demanding!!!

Of course I would like to see a new Darkstalkers game.

But first, I think they should port one of the arcade versions in the series to XBLA/PSN to see how well it does.

A new darkstalkers have a lot of potential that could make a awesome fighter.


That why i want a new one,capcom should definitly make a new one and show gamers how good darkstalkers is.

Not my favorite series, but I would at least play it. Just as long as they don't do something silly, and pull a Mortal Kombat 3. "We've replaced Scorpion with some crappy robot...let's see if they can tell the difference!"

I'm not replying to troll posts for a full 24 hours(as of 17:23 Central US time. 03/12/09)

In that time, if the level of trolling drops significantly of their own accord, I'll admit I was indeed part of the problem, and publicly apologize! ...The odds are more in favor of getting struck by lighting while winning the lotto, and then being bitten by a shark!

yeah Darkstalkers was the reason I bought a Sega Saturn, and a PS1 (however I could never find Darkstalkers after I did, still on the list should I come across it in a pawn shop or what not). If I had the "fun"
budget I would have bought a PSP for Chaos Tower (but the budget just wont allow that much on a handheld when it could be used for console games and movies ect...) but a new 2.5 D Darkstalkers game or anything with Darkstalkers on something I already own would be the top of the list to buy.

Street Fighter and Darkstalkers are the best Capcom's fighting games. Street Fighter represent the light, and the Darkstalkers represent the dark, just like ying and yang :).They balance each other out pretty well.


I have always thought Darkstalkers is a popular series, cuz of all the franchise such as Japanese DS animation, American version DS animation ect. toys.


Now the art tribute book from UDON entertainment is in the work. So I'm crossing my fingers that Capcom would make Darkstalkers to life again.

The Darkstalker games are cult compared to Street Fighter. With that said, I bought the Darkstalker Chronicles game for my PSP and loved how the animation looked. A look that pioneered the Street Fighter Alpha series if I am not mistaken. Should a new Darkstalkers game happen, it should adopt the Street Fighter 4 "look" only to return the favor. As far as the roster, there should be a reduction of characters but those that do make the cut should be voted on by the fans. I am all for big rosters when its a crossover/versus game but when its a series such as Street Fighter or Darkstalkers, the fewer the better.
