I really want Ono to be the producer for this game, cuz he has the love for this game. With that said, I really want the mood for Darkstalkers to be more horror, like Resident evil. With the new game engine of 2.5D I believe that Darkstalkers will look sooo beautiful!
I just noticed that Darkstalkers is not under "Capcom brands" in the forum, it make little bit confused and harder for the fans to pinpoint out the Darkstalkers thread, especially when you are new. Sven would you please create Darkstalkers under "Capcom brands" so the fans can join and do our activity there? |

Ha! That's the same reason I bought a Sega Saturn,for NightWarriors! The PS1 took FOREVER to release Darkstalkers,so I bought the Saturn for NightWarriors,which was already at the sequel and there was a code To get the original Darkstalkers opening and colors for the stages and characters! Was Great to get Vampire Savior a bit later too! Would have been nice to be done with the Saturn Darkstalkers games if Capcom released Vampire(Darkstalkers)Collection for the PS2! all the games on one nice disc!! Oh well... |

I made a thread for that in (ask capcom) "Why no Darkstalker board?" Which I meant "why isn't there an official forum for it under "Brands"?" I can say right now it would get more activity than the "Neopets", "Flock", and "Okami" boards under the brands area. and would definetly start out with more than (2) threads LoL. |

I'd be quite happy if a Darkstalkers board were to happen. Because a board can lead to fan demand, and fan demand can sometimes lead to games! On the off chance DS4 were to happen on the SF4 Engine, It would be amazing! |

I'm totally for a fourth installment of the series! I hunted down all of the games on eBay just to play them again! I'm a HARDCORE Darkstalkers fan(who purchased the art book^^) and I'd love to see another game!

To Sven and Capcom's staff,
On the behalf of Darkstalkers fans, we would like to request for an official Darkstalkers board in the Capcom unity forum. Since there are a lot of fans around the world that would like to see Darkstalkers come back to life. Ono-san has dropped the ball today on "Top Secret podcast" http://www.bioniccommando.com/en/podcasts/view/161 and said that he very interested in bringing back Darkstalkers. On top of that, the art contest of Darkstalkers from UDON entertainment and the new Darkstalkers art tribute book is in the production, therefore, having an official Darkstalkers board its a good marketing plan for the tittle. Having an official Darkstakers board, its easy for the fans to talk about the new concept for the game, the art direction, old and new characters design, background-stages design, game play ect.. Thanks for listening to the fans and please take this request in consideration.

Darkstalkers 4 either using the SF4 engine or purely 2D but with redrawn sprites, i dont mind either way but i would love to see the next installment on a current gen console (Morrigan in 720p mmmmmmmmm) |

Seeing as Darkstalkers is one of my top favorites.. I'd love to see a new polished Darkstalkers.. but I'm sorta afraid if it were done (especially in 3D) that it would not be done in a way that would satisfy my tastes. Maybe I'm too picky but I think the art-design for a Darkstalkers 4 would require even more care, attention to detail and technical know-how than SF4.. it also requires some brilliant character design ability. Are you up to the challenge, Ono/Capcom? Anyone got Bengus' number? I think you'd better give him a call.

Darkstalkers is begging for a return. In a time where stories that take themselves serious and are worked out from the ground up, such as Vampire: The Masquerade or the Underworld series are doing well. It might be time to retell the story in a more thought out way in a gloomy world with its own set of rules. Where the characters might be funny in many ways, but the overall story is taking itself serious. A deadly alliance between horror, fun and rich history seems in order.
