Any suggestions on the storyline, adding or editing new and old characters, finishing moves and combos, graphics, controls, new features, cover art, DLC, developer, trophies, online, and anything else your heart desires.

All my suggestions can be found in the Unofficial Darkstalkers thread and "Help Ono-san make a new Darkstalkers game" in a nut-shell hybrid move sets fron NW and DS3, with new stuff like the moves from Marvel vs Capcom 2. Play like a VS game, 3-D rendered graphics but not like SF IV as that would take too much time and money but rather like Tatsunoko vs Capcon. Include the previously un-used Nobles. Give Marionette and Shadow their own move-sets (not just copy, but a copy opponent's moves or form as a move would be interesting too). advance the time-line, maybe retcon some back story stuff, use animated cut-scenes, and try to tie all their endings and rival scenes together in a way that makes sense and ties together in a single story *but at the same time gives satisfactory endings for each character* Nothing I hate more than beating a game just for the character I played with to lose in their ending. *I still can't believe that did that with Rose in SF IV* I had enough of those bad endings back in the day with other games. |

I think all the funness of DS3. I'd assume they'd bring the front throw and back throw that was seen in SFIV :3 which wont be so bad but I loved pursuits! Newer players could get a easy graps on this and easly get in a few new hits :] I think the DF change and DF power thing should be cut out.

What I'd like is for them to add the Rosario+Vampire characters :D Hehe, well if that can't happen then they just have to add more interesting characters.
I really can't relate to many of them...and I don't know, sometimes the game doesn't feel fluent...Needs to be less "floaty/weak." So that when you attack you feel like you attacked.
I guess it needs more characters, that's it.

Uh...SFIV didn't that big of a budget, or at least not the way you make it come off as. As for animated cut-scenes, defintely for it but not by the same people who did the ones for SFIV as those are all terrible. Not so sure how the look should be, while I wouldn't mind the SFIV style, I want them to actually spend more time rendering the models correctly so that it actually looks like their 2D counterparts. That or go the KOFXII style and have really nice and smooth 2D HD animation. In terms of features, everything from HD Remix from online(lobby, actual quick matches done correctly, tournament) to vs mode. I say that because in Versus mode every character imo should just be unlocked right off the bat, many of the things in SFIV is just tedious instead of rewarding. Going through the arcade mode to get the story is it's own reward, unless you're unlocking some super secret character or some really secretive item or something. Can't say anything about gameplay, it's been ages since the last time I've played any of the games but the vs Marvel style is something I wouldn't be against.

Anything but the horribly flashy/floaty gamepaly of the VS games...
SF characters never looked so good, Rose is the only one that's a bit out of line. Aside from that SF has the best looking 2.5D characters out there.
This is where it becomes personal, some like flasy(drawings), while other people like detailed ANIMATED models that are smooth and look more like a game instead of a cartoon. I'm ok with the 2D, but after seeing SFIV, 2.5D for me from now on.

I'd really like it if they didn't get lazy with hidden characters this time around. I really don't mind characters like Oboro Bishamon and Order-Sol, but Dark Jon Talbain and Dee (Donovan as a Darkstalker) is where they screwed up on.

Street Fighter 4 like graphics. fact is, its a good template that they have the software for already. Although I would like more animation when they're not moving.

Color editing mode = bad Beat 'em up in fighting games = bad Too in depth story = bad
On the story bit, you cannot push the story too far. Sure you can explain "events," but you cannot push the story too far 'cause if you do some characters will just "pass on." Meaning that storywise they'll be done, and won't really make it into a sequel.
I know it's hard to understand, but you just can't delve into the story as you can in adventure/action games. SFIV had a solid "connected" storyline
As long as the story's interesting and connects the characters(relations), like Sakura and Ryu, Gouken and Akuma, Akuma and M. Bison. As long as you have those rivalries and such going on the story will support that one way or another.
