I thought it would be a good idea to post a thread in which we - the community - post our greatest gaming achievements. Be it one, be it many, let this be an opportunity to brag and show the rest of the world how good you are at a certain game/franchise pertaining to Capcom.

For me, it mainly stemmed from Devil May Cry 4.

  • Former Number 1 European in Son of Sparda mode. 12th in the world.
  • 1000/1000 on the achievements. IIRC, this would also mean S ranking every difficulty.

In terms of other games, I guess I only ever made the most effort in Devil May Cry. So SS ranking most difficulties in Devil May Cry 3 was something I was rather proud of.

All I can say is bring on Devil May Cry 5 and the challenges it may put forward. :]

I fell for that April Fools day joke about Akuma being in Resident Evil 2. You had to beat the whole game in like 5 hours without picking up any items except for keys and stuff. Supposedly you unlocked Akuma as a playable character. I spent weeks trying until the next month's gamepro or whatever came out and said it was a hoax. Needless to say, I was a demon with the knife in Code: Veronica when it came out.

I don't normally brag but since you asked...I have a couple I'm proud of. They're not spectacular but... I beat Alien Vs Predator in the arcade with less than $10. I thought I beat Super Ghoulsand Ghosts the same weekend I rented it only to find out I had to start all over again. The most important achievement so far is that I still have not broken my vow to NEVER watch the god awful Street Fighter live action movie with Van Damme. Does it count that I'm old enough to remember playing the original Street Fighter in a rollerskating rink where I grew up?

I got halfway through Son of Sparda mode in DMC4, then I formatted my PS3 HD and lost all my accolades.  I'll probably go back and play DMC1 before I try to earn them all back.  If only they translated into Trophies...

I've finished every RE game up until 5 with an S ranking on normal and hard difficulties.  I Platinum'ed RE5, so I guess that felt pretty good.  Still my only Platinum Trophy so far...

I used to be able to beat guys 2 or 3 times my age at Street Fighter II back in the day.  It brought a smile to my face to hear them say, "Damn, this little dude is pretty good!"  That was always a nice feeling...

Owning a huge collection of immaculate Capcom titles across 9 gaming systems is a pretty nice accomplishment, as well.

Mine was in a Pizza Hut a town away when I was 6.  That's exactly where my Capcom obsession began.  8 years later I was reunited with that glorious cabinet halfway across the country at Lake Owen Skateboard Camp.  Glad they released SF1 on PSP in Capcom Classics Collection Remixed.  I was afraid I'd never see it again.

Ah, memories... Cool

I beat mega Man X2 with no armor, all hearts tanks and all sub tanks. It unlocked the alternate ending. I was pretty shocked.

Beating The 3 Wonderers in the Arcade with $2.00 first arcade game that I beat with my cousin

Memorizing everything there was to Megaman X like the back of my hand

Ranked 14 ( or something around there) on SF:HD for ps3 for a day... until I got super laggy match loss and got stuck around the 50's...

Beating a Zangief player with around 55 000 BP in SF4 in the Arcade (followed by getting absolutley crushed afterwards tough)

"Almost" Finishing Expert mode (3 trials left) in SF4 ... until I moved overseas and left my PS3 back home Cry

Me and Capcom go wayyy back... but i'll keep it short

Nice to see somebody else who's played Three Wonders.

As for me:

I beat Midnight Wanderers by myself on Three Wonders without dying once back in 1999 (this was kinda hard but I was finally able to do it after all the practice I put in), and have since done it at least 2 more times. Next I hope to beat Chariot without dying once (I always lose at least one life)

I beat Devil May Cry 1 on its normal difficulty without dying in just under 3 hours. This was on my first try, and before I found out from my friend that there's an easy mode in the game that you unlock from dying repeatedly (what the heck?) Just spam Devil Trigger. It'll save your bacon more times than you can count.

While playing Project Justice against my friend I had my back to the screen and still won against him. I beat him 'cause I was listening to the sounds on the screen to try to gauge distance (if I heard a block sound I'd keep attacking in that direction but if he attacked I'd hold the opposite direction). I also did the same in Street Fighter a couple times.

I once beat Mega Man Legends 1 without having any of the special weapons even close to being maxed out (not to mention not having the best Buster parts). It was HARD, though, when I got to Juno. Like Ninja Gaiden hard. Eventually he got taken down though. Most of the Zenny I got went into rebuilding the town and other things.

Beat Strider 1 in the arcade in 1 credit back in the day. Probably can't do it now though. =(

That's pretty much all the ones I can remember. I have way more decent achievements with Capcom stuff than with any other company's games.

I beat all the street fighters minus fighting street and street fighter three on the hardest level with out losing a round. I say ex 2 plus alpha was the toughest. Street fighter three i still try to this day but GILL is like an SNK cheater boss.

To add the capcom vs series also cleared on hardest level with out a losing. Minus the snk chaos i just dislike xbox controllers.

I completed street fighter 2000 was it for the nes in one sitting was a great game wonder why there were no sequels.

Was addicted to the first resident evil and beat it in every posable way i could conceive. Played both character getting to the end with all possable survivors and then letting the ones you could save die. Just to see them missing in the ending video clip. It was fun finding new clips for doing different things or taking different paths.
