Well, maybe not every single character- I really didn't mean literally every character- but all the major characters.  Looking at MvC2 and Tatsunoko vs Capcom, there's a pretty good representation of a lot of major Capcom players.  I've seen Soki from Onimusha: DoD in the Tatsunoko screenshots and Jill from Resident Evil is in MvC2.  Considering these games have around 50 playable characters, if they were including solely Capcom fighters, there could be quite a few.  I'm not saying we need to see the merchant from RE4 or Sherry Birkin from RE2, but there's no reason that the majority of the playable characters and important villains from most of those franchises couldn't be included in such a game...

I always wondered why this never happened.  With the Marvel Vs. series, they started with X-men, then With Marvel Super Heroes Vs. Street Fighter, they had all the character sprites they needed to make the game, considering they were re-using the same sprites.  Why didn't they make a fighting game with all those characters.  Strider, Jin, Megaman, Captain Commando, Ryu, Ken, Sagat.. there are SO many characters they have.  it would be an awesome game.

It would make an awesome portable.. It'd be nice on PSP.  I'd even get me away from Tekken for a while.  They just better keep it cheap considering the only thing they'd need to draw would be backgrounds, HUDs, and menu screens, and stuff like that..

Lol, I forgot about Capcom fighting evolution...  I never even played it, but, they need to stick to what marvel Vs. capcom did, and not focus on making characters play like the games they're from, because if they aren't from a 2D fighter, they're already screwed and wont be able to get in. 

I'd love a game like this.. but.. Capcom Vs. Capcom?  That would be a very funny name...  Capcom: Clash or something like that.. that sounds better.

(Noticed how I said capcom should draw new backgrounds for a game like this.  Also, don't put characters that aren't selectable in the background, it's annoying.)

AND NO MARVEL CLONES.

So basically street fighter vs all the others?

Yeah, it'd be a wierd name. Perhaps Capcom All-Stars or Capcom Super Heroes.....I can't really think of anythink of anything else.

If done right (limit the Street Fighter characters & use characters from a bunch of their games, both from other fighters & non-fighters), I could see the game having around 50-ish characters.
