Because capcom doesn`t have the right anymore to create marvel games.

Dont be confused with mvc2 coming on xbl and psn.That is because marvel allowed capcom to re-release it on both,nothing else inclued.But if the sale are high enough,marvel may do a new deal with capcom^they are fans of the vs series like capcom is^but for now,they is no new mvc coming out so the closest thing you have is tvc.

Well you are mistaken,because nobody own the right for marvel fighting games right.Ea lost the right to create fighting games last year,so the license can easily be picked up by capcom depending of marvel interest,but right now,nothing for a new mvc except both would like to do it.

Also to remind you,the rights work like this;specific characters license^spider-man,x-men,hulk,ect^mmorpg license^gazillon own it^and fighting games right^nobody own it^That how marvel licensing work.
