you should check out the two other Darkstalkers threads, got alot of talk about this, especially the Helping make a new Darkstalkers game threads.

I have my own ideas of course, but I refuse to state anything further than "type" of monster and gender on the grounds that anything too specific can actually do more harm than good as it could result in such a character not being made if it bares too close a resemblance to what they were working on.

These are the character types that I would want Capcom to make:

Male Characters
Grey Alien
Voodoo Witch Doctor
Crab Person
Persimmon de Lepe

Female Characters
Plant Woman
Dark Martial Artist
Psychic
Anita

Genderless Characters
Tentacle Monster
Void Creature
Abyss

I think that Capcom should maybe turn Abyss and Amingo into Darktsalkers characters... They fit in really well so what do you guys think? This should also work out for Red Arremer and maybe Arthur as well.

Maybe Manbearpig can fit in as a guest characterTongue out???

Please Help Support Darkstalkers HD Remix!
If enough support is made and if this game makes enough profit, then we might be able to get a new Darkstalkers sequel in the style of Street Fighter IV or even better!!!

a female Dark Martial Artist would be pretty cool. you get so few of those really. In fact I don't think I can name one that is really a "Dark Martial Artist" and not just a shadowy ninja character or something.

on the remaining Nobles the ones I really want to see are

Male: Ed Funachika

Female: Seirra Do Gilman

either: someone from house Voshtal.

I wonder if they did make a new DS game if they would pull a cammy (see Juli and Juni pallet swaps) with q-bee and make one of her tribes bee's try and upstage her? I know they have limited thinking but I hear me some soul bees!

I don't see why Capcom would stop making a character if it was just an idea somebody had. It can do no harm, just for fun. Maybe Capcom will actually see an idea and use it. You seem like a creative fellow, share your ideas please. It actualy can do more good than harm if you look at it from my angle.

For new characters the only two I would like to see is a Twisted Version of a knock off Van Helsing or a Vampire Hunter.

Or my personal favorite would be a Dr. Jekyle /Mr. Hyde. type character would rock!

what I meant was if you were to do as the OP said and give a description, background, and moveset, and it looked like something capcom was working on but not released yet in a copyrightable form, you're idea could end up causing potential legal problems (they don't know who might try to pull what)

I have characters I make such as this RPG concept one below, which unless I worked for Capcom I couldn't say, "pretty please put one of my characters in a game"

 Name: Betty The Baroness

 Gender: Female

 Race: Angel (Elf type)

Description: a blond Caucasian woman wearing an orange pirate's costume, she has blue eyes and naturally red lush lips and a figure to die for. On her back there are criss-crossed belt straps over her shoulder blades (where angel wings would be). She keeps her long blond hair tied up inside her oversized orange pirate captain's hat (which has a cartoon cat skull Jolly Rodger). On her hips she keeps strapped on her left side a sword. The hilt is a French rapier hilt and the sheath would imply a short broad sword (the actual blade is a katana blade), however she uses a gun as her main weapon which she pulls from hammer space as the sword is a sword of healing. Her boots are black unlike the orange color scheme of the rest of her outfit.

Home world: Nirvana, the Royal City, a home to the Angel race. She was a member of the royal family who hated the dull responsibility and when it was announced she was to marry a Count she had never met she ran away and became a pirate to harass her own family and the other royals. Her idea of being a rebel, after all Angels are immortal so any acts of violence by her are more akin to thievery and vandalism in their culture.

Personality: She has the personality of a teenage girl running from her responsibilities, wanting to be a rebel and experiencing life to its fullest.

Examples of powers: As an angel her natural powers are light and healing based, which she loathes using. She instead uses her ability to store items in hammer space (sub-space containment) to use all manner of odd weapons for her attacks, her basic being a small cliché large barreled age of exploration hand gun, however it shoots fire balls rather than bullets.

Her other hammer space moves are

Canon Fire: she summons a pirate's cannon that fires explosive lava bombs.

Hat Trick: she takes her hat off (exposing her long hair) and from the hat fires a blast of salt water.

Double Guns: she summons a second hand gun and goes to town (the second gun fires electric bolts creating a mix of fire balls and electric bolts).

She uses her sword for two very impressive moves

Sword of Healing: she unsheathes her glowing white sword: she had taken the Katana of healing and put a rapier hilt on it, she swings the sword and heals rather than damages her target.

Divine Sacrifice: She takes out her blade and stabs herself in the gut with it, this forces her glowing white wings to come out of her back and changes her costume into her proper white robes, an aura spreads out that fully heals and revives all her allies in the area. This move does not hurt her (in fact it heals her), but it does exhaust her for a short time making it difficult to move.

Her most powerful attack, which she would rather not use is

Heaven's Wrath: She assumes her true angelic form, and summons the essence of an Nirvana Dragon (which assumes the blue aura outline and appearance of one), it unleashes a massive blue fiery blast that devastates her opponents and can even take down large structures.
