The Wii game Resident Evil: Archieve cannot display widescreen, it can only display 4:3 screen there is two black bar on the two side of my 16:9 LCD TV. I cannot accept this.
Capcom admin, pls tell me how the RE:achieve could be play in widescreen, it seem that this is no display setting inside the game. I have try to the setting in the LCD-TV, but that is no use I have the GameCube Resident EVil 1 Remake NTSC-USA. But I insert the GC RE 1 inside the Wii, it can play in 16:9 WideScreen automatically.
The Only reason that I buy Wii game Resident Evil: Archieve, is I want to use the wireless WiiMote to play this game, The length of the GameCube Controller cable is not long enough but now, the Wii Resident Evil: Archieve cannot display widescreen. I am very disappointed the confuse about the 4:3 display of Wii Resident Evil: Archieve. I have creat a thread 3 hours ago. I dont know why the thread is disappeared. I am looking forward a reply from capcom admin. How does Resident Evil: Archieve to display widescreen in LCD-TV ?(without 2 black bar in the two side of LCD-TV)
Resident Evil 2 3 , is a PSOne game, it is a 4:3 game in PS1, but when we play Resident Evil 2 3 in PSP, there are no black bar in the two side of the screen |

First off I have to ask.. are you a joke poster? Why would you misspell "Archive" every single time in your post, especially if you supposedly bought the game. It's "Archives". Second, I must postulate that the reason it can't be made widescreen is because the game uses 2D static backgrounds that were not drawn for widescreen. From all accounts the game does do 480p though, so that's at least a step in the right direction. |

The Wii version is just a mere port & I think Capcom wanted the game to retain its original aspect ratio.
