Could anybody explain to me why does the MH titles comes to west so late? This game debuted in Japan last year, and only now got a localization, and with less contents... I think that Capcom should do as Square-Enix does with their games, putting upgrades and extra contents in the games and not taking it out... You know, if Jolly Roger Armor, for instance, has legal issues and couldn´t be in this version of the game, a equivalente armor should be there fill this void... |

MH isnt overly popular here, it would never warrant budget to add content. The 1st MH game had added stuff, but didnt do well. After that none of titles have got extra's If MHu does good, will likely see new stuff in MH tri. As for MHu ariving late, again.. MH isnt big here, it takes time to convince all right people that its worth the time to localize it. Also MH got a bigger push this time, and needed plenty of time to show it off via Demo and Capcom Team heading out and showing it off at all the shows.

Yeah good old classic ignored titles taking forever to get localized.... it seems like the norm for more niche titles. |

I am curious when I hear if a game is worth being localized. What is localization and what is actually involved into doing it?
Thank you in advance. |

I went to get my brother a copy of this & found it actually sold out at the closest Best Buy to my house. This one seems to be doing better than its predicessors. I'll bet the tagline "Greatest selling PSP game in the world" may have influenced a few sales.

Akk, I want to write something but I just don't have the time right now... perhaps tomorrow I'll get a few spare mins.

I seriously think that the many monster hunter titles released on the PSP is what's keeping that hardware alive. At least in the gaming market. I am well aware the PSP can do more than just games. |
