I can't remeber I've heard develpers say its easier to develope for the ps3 then port to 360. I think if there was anything extra that was too much to handle for the xbox then I think they would cut it. I personally don't understand the entitlement. PS3 excusives or not the PS3 seems to get more downloadable content anyway (not braggin not complainin just sayin) Be satisfied with the fact that the DMC fanbase has increased. If you want excusive content look at sony's amazing catalouge. The last guardian from the ico team looks just as amazing as their last two games. Oh and one more thing um.. Halo 3: ODST, Forza 3, Left 4 Dead 2, Alan Wake, Mass Effect 2, Crackdown 2, Splinter Cell: Conviction, Halo: Reach and Project Natal? micro isn't screwed its going to be a good match this season I'm rooting for sony with that price cut but its really anyones game as for wii a fourplayer at once new super mario brothers is going to be epic, i'm thinkin of getting one for my mom cuz she hearts old school mario.
I came here to do 2 things eat pretzels and kill people and right now im all outta pretzals

its actually easier to to develop for the xbox and microsoft actually supplies funds for developing on their system, im saying that the ps3 is more capable in terms of graphics and other processing abilities, im not asking for dlc, im asking a for the quality the game deserves...

The 360 is far easier to develop for because it uses long standing APIs such as the Windows kernel and DirectX. That means that you are basically developing for the PC when you develop for the XBOX 360. The PS3 is far more taxing because of its multiple processor structure (the Cell) and the fact that Sony has always been pretty terrible at providing libraries/APIs/SDKs etc. |

exactly, but because of its hardware, the PS3 is more capable so id like to see that being abused, i dont want to settle for a watered down version, i mean, if the game can look better on one system, than why not?

Okay, I'm trying to come up with a "how would it feel" analogy. Look at Ghostbusters. The PS3 version got shafted, where as the 360 looks noticably better. That's basically how you're wanting 360 owners to be treated on all multiplatform releases, or at least that's how it's sounding. If that's not what you're trying to say, then I apologize. But it really does sound like "Well the PS3 has more technical oomph, so those other guys should get weaker versions of stuff, while we get something superior."
I support a classic RE Franchise Reboot. Just say "no" to online multiplayer!
