One of the things that we wanted to introduce to Capcom Unity was the idea of a Capcom Unity Video Game Club. With this club, we'll be able to play through a Capcom game together via game assignments and discussions in the forums. We'll focus on discussing the game's design, story, art, and anything else that results from the conversation between us (the community team) and you folks (Unity members). Think of it as a type of book club. The Capcom games can be new or classic. The format in which we'll be doing this is that we will pick a game starting later this week and give out a weekly assignment (say, 1/4 of the game for the week). We will all play through this assignment and discuss it in the forums until the next assigment is assigned. Understood? Keep in mind that you obviously have to own the game in order to play along with us, but we may be able to score some codes and/or games for some lucky Unity members. For our inaugural edition of Capcom Unity Video Game Club, we'll leave it up to you folks to decide! Select your choice on the official post. We'll announce the winning game in our first installment of Capcom Unity Video Game Club this Friday! The choices will be different down the line when we pick Game 2, so if you don't see your favorite game here, be patient. For now, use this thread to discuss the choices and campaign for the title you want to see us all play!

Hey J T AKA HL Detective, there ARE no prizes :-) This is a fun, community play through of a game. Think of how a book club meets up and discusses a book that they've been reading. That's what we're trying to recreate virtually via our forum thread here. Each week we will ALL play a certain portion of the game we've selected (depending on the assignment given) and discuss here in this thread. Does that make sense?

It'd be neat to replay all the classic NES Mega Man games to discuss the differences/changes & how they've affected the series (if they've stayed in, like the Mega Buster). |
