Ghosts 'n Goblins already has a sequel in the works while Darkstalkers & Power Stone have alot of support for new releases(even if just online enabled ports & for Darstalkers, Ono-san even wants to make one).

Jo'Jo's Bizzare Adventure is based on a Shoenen Jump manga series so any chance of seeing that again is slim.

Unfortunately, its only an IPhone & IPod Touch game as of now. It's name is like "Ghosts 'N Goblins: Gold Knights" and its big thing is that it has 2 playable heroes this time around (Arther & Lancelot). From the controls i've seen, I don't see why a PSP download port(which I really want) can't happen somewhere down the line.

Ghosts n Goblins just got a sequel on the PSP, and the Maximo games were always GnG in spirit, so that's one series that I don't think needs to be revisited for a bit.

The PSP game is quite excellent I must add.

The last two proper entries in the series were Super G'n'G and Demons Crest on the SNES in the first half of the 90s. Maximos grinding hack'n'slash gameplay bears no resemblance of what made the classic 2D entries so great. That's not GnG in spirit, it's nothing compared to it. It just choose a similar scenario, art and music direction.

I borrowed a workmates PSP for two weeks just to play it. It's okay for a handheld job, albeit not on par with SGNG and DC.

What the series needs is a full blown "Wario Land: Shake It!" style 2D installment on the Wii. Wario moved 700K units already.

Id like to see a new mega man that goes back to the roots like MM 2 with 6 new robot masters new or old rush transformations and protoman as a playable character. Crazy 2d visuals slide move power shot and animated cutscenes like MM 8 and Im str8.

Id like to see the old school beat em ups come back even if there just slightly enhanced HD visuals and sound with online I want arcade final fight, punisher, cadillacs and dinosaurs, battle circuit, and captain commando.

I think a remake of the arcade game forgotten worlds would be boss as well yeah with new tech visuals bosses levels and weapons or maybe there could be forgotten worlds 2 with a world you could explore on foot horizontally and vertically via jet pack with upgrades and backtracking similar to metroid or the more recent shadow complex. Id scoop that up in a second.

Ghosts n' Goblin's difficult?  Oh noes!

Maybe they'll also do something  crazy like adding jumping to Mario games or copying boss powers in Mega Man.

Clocktower,Haunting Ground and Project justice. I'm willing to Marry a bed ridden Millionaire just to have those sequels get produce.
