I think I had posted on the wrong boards So here it is. 


On the blog post about the SF surprise, I posted a P.S. asking for a sequel to Demon's Crest/Gargoyles Quest series. Here's Grant response:





Demon's Crest/Gargoyle's Quest would be kinda sweet....you never know what can happen if enough people ask.

They really should, Demon's Crest is my favorite game ever made.

I'm trying to go to various forums and such (yeah, I even left a message on a youtube vid) for people to come and show their support. I guess it won't happen :(


I really loved that game, more than the Gargoyle's Quests. It's also one of the rare games where you ARE the evil or the demon itself. A PS3/360 version would kick some serious butts. But what really made Demon's Crest better than the Gargoyle's Quests was the music. The intro when you turned on the game and the first level more than the others, in my opinion, were the best. ever. They felt powerful, and somehow dark. It bonded well with the concept.


I just wish more people would join here and show support so we could have a sequel.

Demon's Crest is one of greatest games i have played in the past generations, me and maybe the most of people of Brazil who have played this game are waiting for a sequel

Demon's Crest was definitely was of the best games I ever played on the SNES.  It would be awesome if Capcom decided to do somethin' with it.

I saw gothdom's message on YouTube and created this account just to support a remake.


It really is all about the music... and something about being a demon, not human or angelic, just a power hungery demon, not really good or bad... It's dark, but not depressing, sad, or evil.


Firebrand isn't a sympathic character, he a demon, there's no discussion of morality, he's just looking to grow more and more powerful, for himself, and in a very active way, rather then reactive, resentful.

Demons Crest was a great game. I want a sequal, but I want it 2D.
