 Darkstalkers- It's a great game with a loyal, if small, following of fans. There is no Darkstalkers board on the BBS currently, so, in a stroke of genius (or fanaticism, if you wanna get picky with the details) a couple of us decided it would be a good idea to make an unofficial thread for the series- a place where Darkstalkers fans can gather, talk, share theories and ideas... I decided that the CGD would be the best place for this thread, though technically, most fighting game discussion takes place in the Street Fighter Forum. However, Darkstalkers is not Street Fighter. It's very similar, and don't get me wrong- Street Fighter is a great game. Heck, without SF, fighting games as we know them would have never been the same. But Darkstalkers and Street Fighter are also different as... as... well, night and day! So, anywho... welcome to the thread, blah blah blah. You know the drill! Let's GO GO GO!!! ...Oh man, that last part sounded stupid. >_>; -Morrigan A. Oh, before I go, here's a topic to discuss, I guess. Who's your favorite character? (Oh, c'mon! I love this series as well. My favorite character is Felicia. She reminds me of Sonic the Hedgehog with the blue hair, green eyes, and the rolling move. If Street Fighter IV does well (I'm praying it will) , the more fighting games we get starting with Darkstalkers. We await for their return soon. It also wouldn't hurt if Dante from Devil May Cry was in the game, he got some pretty awesome good moves and his current design in DMC4 should in the game as well. Boy, I miss them all.

Jedah has some pretty sick moves but, my favorite is Demitri. I love his "midnight bliss."

Those quotes were pretty awesome, but I think one of my favorite quotes is one of Anakaris' from Darkstalkers 3 (Vampire Savior)-
"That was the worst strategy ever. Buy an official book!" That was subtle, Anakaris. Reeeeal subtle. -_-; |

Best Capcom fighting game series ever.
Ever. My favorite characters? All of them, but B.B. Hood, Jedah, and Donovan stick out to me the most as being my top favorites. Gameplay-wise, I'm partial to Jedah, Hsien-ko, Victor, and B.B. Hood. My favorite quote was from L. Raptor in Vampire Savior: "Go to hell? I just came from there!", "It's show time! A decapitation magic, for real!", and when B.B. Hood says "These unworthy customers **** me off!" |

She sells sea shells by the sea shore. However a tidal wave's coming so she won't be doing that too much longer.

What about the stages for all the games, there great too. My favorite stages are USA (Felicia), England (Jon/Gallon), Romania (Demitri), Japan (Bishamon), Australia (L. Raptor/Zabel), Phobos (Mexico), and HELLSTORM! (Pyron). I'm hoping these great stages come back in a new Darkstalkers game. Especially the return of the USA stage with Felicia singing her Night Warriors Darkstalkers' Revenge Theme. Also, bring back the Trouble Man song.

My favorite stages were War Agony, Revengers' Roost, and Fetus of God (Creator's Fetus), all from Vampire Savior. Also, the Australia stage from The Night Warriors makes it into my top 5, easily.
What about favorite music? I love all of the music in Nightwarriors' Revenge and Vampire Savior. My main favorites are L. Raptor's theme from NWR, War Agony from Vampire Savior, and Pyron's theme from NWR. |

Vampire Hunter and Vampire Savior are the fastest fighting games ever.
Yes, faster than Marvel vs. and KOF. I play Demitri and Victor. =D |
