Speaking of Lord Raptor, I noticed looking through the art tribute book that his Midnight Bliss form looks very popular. I wander if they could swing some weird back story to turn her into a character all her own.

Speaking of that. What was the deal with all of the rockband tribute art? There was at least 6-7 pictures with VS characters in a band.

"VS" characters? I only saw Darkstalkers. Or do you mean characters that would normally fight one another? Its art so realistic pairings isn't required. I kinda liked the rock band ones, 7 picks out of 200+ isn't all that bad is it?


Marionnete got one pic with her up front. SHe might have been in some others small but I didn't notice. Shadow got zero picks. Heck even Pyron barely got a few to himself, but it was a good spread. I didn't expect to see as many Rikuo picks as there were, guess he's more popular than I thought.


Something funny for you, one of the rockband picks, the one with the skeletons for the audience, on the right side a skeleton is taking a photo of Felicia's butt with his camera phone LoL.

I wouldn't mind getting either, but I would prefer to get a brand new Darkstalkers game based off of the Street Fighter IV engine rather than an HD Remix/port.  I don't mind playing remakes/ports (ithey're a good way to relive some great games from the past), but theres no substitute for playing a new game that introduces new characters, new play mechanics, and/or advances the story of the franchise.  We get to see Morrigan in 3D in TvC, so it would be great to see all of my other DS favorites in 3D as well.  Plus, the last DS game we got in the U.S. for the PSP was more or less a port/remake of the 3 arcade games with the addition of the awesome Tower mode, so I'd love to get a new game.  But, if we get the port or remix, that would be alright as well (and depending on its success, it could lead to a new game).


The main thing I wouldn't want in a possible upcoming DS game, be it remix or original, would be non-DS characters (like Dante) appearing as playable fighters, as I think it would cheapen the experience a little bit.

My responce is as much as I love and I mean love Skullomania and Doctrine Dark, I know that there are licensing issues surrounding the SFEX series and the fact that Capcom USA doesn't own that division of the SF franchise and let's be honest: in my heart Demitri >>>>>>>>>>>>> Skullo XD. Besides even though I'm a fan of EX I'm more of a Darkstalker fan.
