Awesome, Ono hints always mean something. I remember when I saw the first trailer for Street Fighter 4 back around.... late 2006 I think.

If Capcom is planning to produce Darkstalkers in SFIV engine, it will probably take them about 2 years or late 2011 after Super Street Fighter iv release in Spring 2010. Right now the are releasing the tribute book, and then comic books, those are parts of the marketing plan. Demitri_Girl I just saw your youtube, thank you so much for taking the time to do it, it looks awesome! I think we should have a some sort of fans concept art for new characters in the new Darkstalker game :) |

At this time it seems the likely hood is good for a new game over an HD remix, and I have to say good, I'd much rather see a brand new game than an HD remix. On this note, I am looking forward to the Udon comic picking back up, hopefully it lasts longer than six issues this time. |

Looking on the "Schedules" section of UDON's site, they have the Darkstalkers comic listed for Jan, Feb and March, as #1 (of 3), #2 (of 3) and #3 (of 3), respectively... so I wonder if that's all that's currently planned? ... of course, March is currently the last month they have up, so anything past that is unknown.
Want: Darkstalkers to return in the not to distant future. Yeah, that would be great. Please?

I really hope if they do a Darkstalers 4, they have all previous playable characters return(even Victor & Lilith) and introduce some newcomers. After all, they have plenty of unexplored character possilities. I think a slasher film-esk character is in order. Someone with little to no known backstory, debatably human (as they seemlessly come back from the dead every movie & usually display abnormal abilities), and rarely makes sound, let alone speak. It would be amusing to see a character like that suddenly finding him/herself facing off against a sasquatch or catgirl. As for design, I think something like the Phantasm would work over say Jason:
