I wonder if it will end up being released outside of Japan.
Most likely it won't be.
Only like 2 Tatsunoko series are licensed in America from what I remember (it might be 3 or even 4, I forgot), and I think they're licensed by different companies. The rest haven't even been touched by a ten-foot pole here, and if they were, chances are there'd be even more companies licensing them on top of the ones there are already, so that would make localization even more of an uphill battle.
Cross Edge maybe has more of a shot seeing as how here in America, NIS deals with Idea Factory, NIS, and Gust games, leaving only Namco and Capcom. But I would still say that that game has a very slim chance of coming out here too.
Yeah this game probobly doesn't have a great chance of coming out here. Anything Capcom and Fighting will still end up in my hands though.
Why does it seem like they are reaching on thin one though. I mean I'm VERY happy that Capcom is in housing a 2D fighter no matter what it is, but come on! Theres like no iconic rivalry or fan build up thats driving this game. Who the hell wants to see god **** Gatchaman vs Dante or Racer X vs Morrigan....hey never mind that sounds pretty awesome.
I hope this games success turns into CFJ2 some how.
What the heck? Why do companies keep putting "Solid Snakes in Brawl" gimmicks (IE crossovers with companies they don't have much, if any of a rivalry or relationship with ala MKvDC.)
I'm glad Capcom starting fighters again but Speed Racer vs Ryu? What kind of dream match is that?
^ Yeah thats pretty retarded. I just looked up Tatsunoko. Apparently hey did Tekkaman blade. I love that ****! D-Boy vs Zero and Megaman baby! Or maybe even Strider Hiryu and Jin Saotome.

It's more appealing to Japanese fans. It's not going to be all that appealing to us since alot of people aren't familiar with the these anime series.
It's just like with Jump Super Stars and Namco X Capcom. They have alot of characters from various franchises that are popular in the US, however at the sametime they have alot of chars that aren't well known in the US.

What kind of dream match was Marvel Vs Capcom?
I don't remember people clamoring for Marvel and Capcom going up against one another prior to X-Men Vs Street Fighter.
Has there been predictable or annticapted dream match game aside from Capcom Vs SNK?
Honestly stuff like Smash Brothers and Marvel Vs Capcom made no sense from a anticipated or desired dream match up, but they worked out well, so it's pointless to think that Capcom is being stupid for essentially attempting another crazy match up game.

People clamored for Namco vs Capcom....we just didn't get it the way we wanted. As for Marvel vs Capcom, people simply wanted Street Fighter characters in Marvel Super Heroes, the Idea of cross over didn't exist yet.
What I don't understand is why didn't they go with something more Universally appealing.

The concept of crossover wasn't really big then but Capcom was making Marvel fighters (who also had cameos by Akuma and Anita as playable characters.) They probably just went from there from the cameos to a full out vs game.
