Why doesn't Capcom try and make this game on the new consoles?

Probably because (Though I hate to say it) side scrollers is pretty much a dead genre, and in the era of 3D they just aren't as fun, if they were kept in 2D, few would buy it, the sad truth.

The Bouncer was pretty good, though I only played the 2 player mode, but was it hugely successful? I don't believe it was, a company's better off reviewing its major hits than going back to their less popular titles. Its all about money.

Sad, real sad...
In the past, games was the more funny thing to do, but today, well, it´s all about money, The Possessed is right, it´s doesn´t matter the game fans, it´s like Nintendo say here in Brazil:
"We want that you gamer blow!"
That´s is a horrible propaganda in my opinion, i guess so.

Well, the only reason it wasn't hugely popular is because I think they didn't spend enough time on it.  If they could've given it the length of Final Fantasy and new additions within the game it would've been big.

I'm sure any game with the right amount of time spent on it could be great, but "if" doesn't help when reviewing how well it sold. If it sold badly, sorry to say but for a company trying to make money it should be commen sense not to make a sequel.

Enos... It is sad for us who have seen some great titles not get sequels, but a company does need to survive, it needs to focus on a large range of consumers, not just fans imo. Making loads of sequels that wouldn't stand a chance of selling well would be financial suicide imo.
