was in a gaming store this weekend with a friend, and they happend to have a SNES for sale and a copy of the original Breath of Fire game so we bought and man did it bring back memories of the good ole days.

But then i started wondering why there hasn't been a release of the Breath of fire 1 & 2 games for purchase? Like what square did with the final fantasy games from nes & snes to the ps1

I also started to think about how cool it would be if they did get released onto a newer console system in original form or done on like the ps2, ps3, wii, or xbox 360. with the traditional fighting system but with the today's style graphics. Unlike the ps2 version that came out and in my opinion was a failure in the series.

as an rpg fan i loved these games and still today after playing it again after a really long time, i still love the games, and would love to see them again.

So to all RPG and Breath of Fire Fans what do you say? do we all want these two games agains?

Thanks for your time

I played Breath of Fire III and Dragon Quarter.  Both of them were awesome but i found the gameplay of Dragon Quarter very fun and addictive!  The maps were a bit repetitive and gloomy but it's my favorite Breath of Fire yet.

Man, I don't play RPGs anymore strictly due to time restraints...  but I would make time to play a new Breath of Fire!

My fav rpg series, hands down.

I just joined here today to post about how I think it is a terrible waste that Capcom has seemingly abandoned the Breath Of Fire Franchise, and I'm glad I found some like-minded people.
