E32009: CapVoid of a TapCom
Friday, June 5, 2009, 01:47 AM [General]
Capcom had a small booth this year, but you couldn't miss the booth, no matter where you stood. Capcom sure knows how to be noticed and attract them all the same. I was attending E32009 as media this year and was able to be playing most of the games in Capcom's list. In the next few hours I will be updating this post to include my take on each of these games. Marvel vs Capcom 2 (PS3 and Xbox 360) - Capcom did more than just a port, they upgraded the game to fix the issues that were found in the PS2 version, and re-did the graphics to fit into the HD-era. And, boy, it looks gorgeous. Its coming soon, so you'll be able to play this. Surprisingly, there are a few that would play this. I was looking for a challenge, and I won, but then I lost to another dude. Dam. Tatsunoko vs Capcom (Wii) - This game was hogged by many players during the time I was there; everyone wanted to play. And since it was new to me, I was going like "whoa" and other words - some moves were new to me, like Chun Li's super kicks. Get this, you can do it in the air, too. What amazed me, was that some players knew how to play. It was nice watching you guys play, boys. Especially that tall african dude. Dark Void - Comments Reserved Lost Planet 2 - Game of the Booth - I think this is the best thing that was displayed at E3 by Capcom. They really fixed a lot of the issues many people had, and many of the issues I didn't like, at all, either. Co-Op is highly featured in this game, and that's just crazy more than 4 players Co Op? SIGN ME UP! I'm getting this the day its out. I'm still not done, I'm still editing, updating. Pictures will be up when I get home. :) Tags:
E32009 badge arrives
Sunday, May 24, 2009, 03:55 AM [General]
This is what the envelope looks like when you recieve your E3 badge (there's a barcode on the upper left, where I cover it up)... ![]() And this is what it looks like when you open up the envelope. There's rules on the side of that badge paper. I don't like how E3 is going paper crazy with the badges, I really like the previous E3 badges better than I do this year's. I also noticed that this year, ESA took a page out of GDC's playbook by using a solid paper - and its larger, too. I got it a week ago, but due to the finals, I had to focus on getting my homework done, focus on getting everything together. Now I'm only two days away from college finals, so I can share my new badge. E32009 is one month away!

![]() So, E32009 is upon us, and in recent weeks, I've been pushing for entry into E3009. And then I got my Media Badge qualified! In other news, CarlosX360, Co. Ltd. has been born. The excitement is growing, because I am now a corporate news outlet! I'll try to play all the biggest games of E32009, and Capcom's games are on top of my list of games to play! :) Mega Man 9 video

I created this when I first bought it from the PSN store. Right now, I have a full review, but I am not ready to show the review right now...so you'll just have to wait. You might be wondering who I am. I was looking for an appropriate time to introduce myself, I am Carlos, currently known as "CarlosX360," I own a network of sites - www.carlosx360.com being one of them. I used own and run xe360.com with John Olin, and have helped the site get sold. Next tuesday should be an interesting day, because SSFIIHDRemix comes out, and I will be one of the millions to own it. |
