Monster Hunter Freedom Unite Scale Artwork

    Friday, May 8, 2009, 12:34 PM [General]

I teased you guys with this last week, so its only fair that I give it to you this week.  Below is a scale artwork from Monster Hunter Freedom Unite.  Those are the actual sizes of the monsters compared to your hunter.  When we say "majestic" monsters, we're not kidding.  If I was the hunter in the left corner, I'd be running too.

Click on the art to go to the ridiculously huge version, perfect for creating your own desktop images.  Enjoy!

    Thursday, April 30, 2009, 06:59 PM [General]

Are you ready for the Monster invasion?  Well, they are coming whether you're ready or not.  However, you need not fear as Capcom is here for you.

To help you get ready for Monster Hunter Freedom Unite, we've launched the website for information on the game.  Take a look around and enjoy!

PS.  I know that art is really cool.  It's a scale drawing of the monsters in the game.  The tiny dot in the lower left is actually the hunter.  Pretty Epic, eh?

PPS.  Don't worry, we'll be releasing a larger version of the art soon.  I just like to tease you guys with some of the stuff we have coming.  :)

Mega Man Website Update - Classic to Starforce 3

    Thursday, April 23, 2009, 05:35 PM [General]

I still remember the first time I ever played Mega Man.  Sitting cross-legged on the carpet in my parent's den, I marveled at this game that allowed me to play it however I wanted.  Should I beat Cut Man first?  Or might he be easier if I took out Fire Man?  Of course, the most dreaded and powerful enemy was always the instant-death spikes.  I hated those spikes so much.

Mega Man has gone through many changes through the years.  From the X series to 3D adventures with the Legends series, Capcom has tried to reinvent Mega Man for each generation of gamers. Through different game styles, different storylines and different characters, we've transformed our little blue hero into a pop culture icon that older gamers know and love.

While Mega Man has always been targeted at younger gamers (or those that are young at heart, like me), we've never lost sight of our original fans.  You fans are the core of the Mega Man universe and we make games like Mega Man 9 directly for you.

Now, we're happy to announce the latest update to the Mega Man Site to include all the information you'd want to know about Mega Man Starforce 3. Working on the title gives me the ability to test it out on my nephews (best uncle ever!) and I love the looks on their faces any time they unlock a new power for Mega Man to use.  By integrating the popular card battle system similar to the Battle Network series, we’re looking to continue the story of Geo and his friends in order to give the kids today that same fascination I once had playing on the NES.

Mega Man Starforce 3 is set to launch June 30th for the Nintendo DS.  It's going to come in two flavors, Black Ace and Red Joker, each with their own unique powers.  It's time for Mega Man to save the world again.  Are you (or your kids/nephews/cousins) up to the challenge?

Be sure to check out the website!

Announcing the Monster Hunter Freedom Unite Demo!!!

    Monday, April 20, 2009, 03:29 PM [General]

All you fans of hunting monstrous things can rejoice as Capcom is proud to announce the upcoming demo for Monster Hunter Freedom Unite.  We were going to tease you about this a little more before announcing it, but one of the international ratings bodies spilled the beans for us.

The demo will feature multiple missions that can be played either Single Player, with the help of a Felyne knight, or Multiplayer.  To help newcomers hunt some of the bigger beasties and get a taste of the deeper action, we created higher level characters skilled at each of the major weapon types.  Basically, the demo gets you into the hunt as quickly as possible and is the perfect way for all you MH fanatics to get your friends to try out and enjoy the obsession.

Look for a release of early June for the demo, featured on the PSP store.  In the meantime, check out the newly finalized cover art (slightly different than the one shown before):
