We Love Golf Special Costume Post #2

    Monday, July 21, 2008, 11:31 AM [General]

We Love Golf is available everywhere and going strong.  Today I'm going to reveal how to unlock a couple of fan favorite costumes: Ryu and Jill.

Tony loves dressing in a sleeveless gi as it allows him freedom in his golf swing.  To unlock, simply clear all the approach shots on Target Golf!  Of course, to use it, you have to unlock Tony first by beating him in the Character Match.

Yuki isn't afraid of any golf course, nor zombies for that matter.  She loves to dress up like Jill Valentine when you clear all the putting levels of Target Golf.

Tune in tomorrow for more unlockables!

We Love Golf Special Character Post #1

    Friday, July 18, 2008, 05:02 PM [General]

It's official!  You can now get your very own copy of the best golf game on the Wii (according to metacritic) at your favorite game retailer.  To celebrate its release, I'm going to give Capcom Unity fans some insider knowledge regarding the character costumes in the game and how to unlock them.

    First up, Chun Li!

Chun Li's costume is for the character Lisa.  To unlock her alternate costume, enter the mode of Target golf and complete all the 2nd shots.

I'll be letting you know how to unlock all the other costumes throughout the next couple weeks, as well as some nifty surprises for the fans of We Love Golf!

Also, Capcom employees will be playing We Love Golf online every Friday, so I hope to see you out on the links!

The dicerning golfer always uses their own clubs, shouldn't you always use your own Wii Remote?

    Okami Wii special covers update!

    Thursday, June 19, 2008, 08:07 PM [General]

I wanted to give you all an update regarding the special covers for Okami.

First off, thanks to all who submitted. Your love of Okami is apparent by the flood of requests for the new covers. Interest was spread across all three options fairly evenly, and some folks even submitted three times to try and get all the covers.

Because of the sheer number of entries, repeats and foriegn entries the list has taken awhile to collect. Those who submitted multiple times were reduced to one. Those who submitted from outside the US and Canada were removed entirely (sorry!).

Our hard-working staff is almost done and we'll be sending out the confirmation emails next week with art arriving in your mail shortly after. As a special bonus, the art will actually be double sided with the original Wii cover artwork on one side and the new piece of art on the other. Two for one is how we like to do things at Capcom.

For those who missed the opportunity, you can still download high quality versions of the special covers at http://www.capcom.com/artredemption/. Also, don't forget about all the amazing artwork at http://www.artofokami.com. If you don't have a color printer, your local copy shop will print it for you for about 50 cents.

Thank you again for supporting Okami on the Wii and look here for more updates should the need arise.
