Hope you all had a safe and happy new years! I have had a chance to thoroughly check out RE Degeneration and it is better than I had originally thought. There are plenty of extras (I ordered Blu-Ray) and it is worth every penny that I spent on it. I've said it before and I'll say it again, buy it! Capcom has outdone themselves. The bonuses alone are worth the money and, of course, they leave it open for another movie to come out, or another video game, which I would do cartwheels for. Thank you Capcom for giving us diehards something to watch until March 13, 2009. which is marked on my calendar, money saved, butterflies in my gut. I am moving into town and out of the styx so that I may have DSL which means PSN! Can't wait, will see you there Strider! Hope I just sold you on Degeneration.
You will never guess what I found when I opened my mailbox today..........RE Degeneration!! Oh my, it is the coolest movie that has come out for this game series yet! The animation is so cool, my boyfriend fell asleep right after I started the movie and he woke up about an hour later, and he's looking at the screen......and he says, "is that still your movie playing?" He couldn't tell if they were real or not, I mean that is some cool CG going on there. And the voice actors are absolutely fantastic, same voices from RE2 (and we all know that I love RE2). I must say "Hats off to you Capcom!!!" You guys are genius, thank you for putting your hearts into it, I love it and if there are any fans of Resident Evil, you must get this movie, it will scare the poop out of you, really! Buy it - it's worth it.
I will have RE:Degeneration at my house on Mon. Dec.29!! I am so excited over this - more than Christmas or New Year's or anything else right now for that matter - I can't wait! Gotta love having a little RE snack to hold me over until March gets here, I hate waiting for release dates, my patience doesn't cover those, I get antsy. Now I know where my avatar's outfit came from, and it's pretty cool that she still has the same voice as in RE2, one of my all time ever fav's!
Last night I visited the new Capcom-unity website for RE5 and for RE Degeneration, and it is the coolest ever, I still can't wait for March to get here but.....
I was at home alone when I was surfing the site and I spent about an hour watching trailers, new takes on gameplay, and clips from Degeneration, and I decided to go down into my basement, which is the only place in the house that I smoke my cigs at, and have a cigarette. Keep in mind I've been watching videos on RE 5 for over an hour, after dark, alone, in the house and all of a sudden I hear footsteps upstairs and nobody is supposed to be home for at least another hour. I froze, my eyes big as silver dollars not knowing what to do. For a full minute and a half I don't think that I even breathed before my 14 yr. old daughter finally let me off the hook, calling "mom where are you?" I don't normally scare very easily but I'm telling you now that I was scared out of my mind, and she thought that this was so very hilarious that she even choked on a cookie while we were discussing this situation. So, thumbs up to all of you at Capcom, you scared the bejesus out of me and I can't wait even more now to play the new game and see the new movie. I hope you all get a good laugh, as she did, from my good scare. Kudos to you Capcom and all of you RE lovers out there, if you haven't checked out the website do so, "It's fear you can't forget"
My sister in law just finally got back from her second tour in iraq and is only home for a couple of days and then she's back to the base, but not back to iraq, only one year left in the army she's a courageous soul, please keep her and all of our other troups in your prayers this christmas while you're busy being thankful for what you have - you don't realize how lucky you are sometimes
