We're looking for a few good Spyborgs wallpapers, and when it comes to creative, IMO nobody's better than you--the community.
With that in mind, we present to you, the Official Spyborgs Wallpaper Contest. This is your chance to create not just any old wallpaper, but our officially official wallpaper.
You are free to use whatever you like to make the wallpapers, but to aid you in your artistic endeavors, we have a few high-res layered pieces of Spyborgs art ready for your downloadification here.
The contest runs from today, August 5th, through Friday, August 14th, 2009. Send a message to THIS GUY with the details on where to find your entry, and you're good to go.
Oh right... what do you win? Besides your place in Capcom history and internet fame (retail value $0.00), you'll also score:
--A free copy of the game
--A copy of the Spyborgs comic signed by the original UDON artists
I'm behind the curve on this whole Olympics thing, maybe cause I find it... inadequately digital? The superjumps are pretty tame, practically no fireballs, and the achievements are unimaginative, to say the least.
Anyway Lily pointed me at a few pictures that helped put the whole thing into my language:
Do these guys even sleep? The hardcores at StreetFighterDevotion.com were busy bees at Comic-Con, and managed to snag interviews with Street Fighter IV producers Ono-san and David Crislip, as well as Udon honcho Jim Zub!
--Maximilian has a nice piece on his travels to play SFIV, that included going to Comic-Con, a Ghostface Killah concert, and a filthy warehouse in downtown LA. It also includes a nice breakdown of what the Focus Attack is all about. Check it here!
--The COMtributor has been writing a BOOK
on Monster Hunter--what it is, why it's awesome, and some keys to making the next western release as big a success as it is in Japan (where it's an unstoppable Godzilla of hugeness). This is some of the best writing I've ever seen on Unity!
--Power Stone
fanatic Chloebs is back with some ideas about what some old favorites might
look like in an imagined new Power Stone 3 game!
