Since the new iPhone is being released on Friday, I thought it would be fun to make some custom Capcom iPhone/iPod touch wallpapers for everyone to enjoy.

If you find one that you like, save the enlarged non-iPhone image to your iPhone/iPod touch and set it as your wallpaper.  After many tests, I found that the wallpapers came out best when I created them at double the size of the iPhone.  They look fantastic shrunken down on the small bright screen.  I made sure that the dimensions were spot on so that there would be no need to move the image around when setting it.

TIP: The wallpapers will appear a little bit crisper on your device if you sync them directly through iTunes as opposed to saving them by email.

For these, I created a template modeled off of the Viewlix arcade cabinet.  I had to build the unit piece by piece using scraps from different photographs I found on the Internet.  It was hard finding pictures taken from just the right angle.  It took many hours in Photoshop, but I’m happy with the results.

The dimensions of the iPhone screen are 320 x 480.  Any ratio higher than that should look good (probably better).

I'm pretty sure this would've worked on my Zune (almost the same screen size & that), but it's been broken & I gotta wait until Sept. for the new one to be released.
