SWAG IDEAS!??! how long has this thread been here?? well, i stayed up last night putting together some great swag ideas! enjoy the product of my ingenuity (i know, i'm big-headed). i recognize the request is for non game-specific swag. but there is so much potential i couldn't ignore with capcom's franchises i mixed things up a bit. please enjoy, i sure did!


#1,  I ♥ RACCOON CITY
we've all seen 'em.. those "I ♥ NY" shirts. well this is with a little capcom flavor!



#2, DOWNLOADABLE CONTENT CARDS
this is a no-brainer in my book. what better thank you than free games and themes?


#3, BUMPER STICKERS
i would commit some dark deeds for one of these puppies!
i used the term "Focus Team" to create pride amongst those offering their time without salary. ^-^


#4, CONTROLLER SKINS
the potential is boundless with the amounts of skins and themes one could conger up.
however i only have two to show. you already get the drift. System skins would be cool too.


i don't own a PS3 or anything, but i have already represented the other two consoles, so it's only fair to include sony's system to the party. If 360 and Wii-mote Focus Team skins were made, i would want one for each of my controllers!



#5, FOCUS TEAM SHIRTS
common, every team has a get-up! there's a bit of extra flair on the back too. ^-^


#6, FOAM Z SABRES
or is it sabers? you may laugh at first but you know you'd have fun having Z Sabre battles at the office!
everyone will learn to respect your authority with one of these! ..maybe you could use your new power to get some better coffee around here too.


#7, LAZER POINTER PENS
all around useful and looks cool too!

i found a site where you can order these guys in bulk too at reasonable prices. yup, i did your homework for you.



#8, RYU'S GLOVES
with his bandana now in circulation at conventions his gloves are the next logical move.



#9, RETRO POSTERS
okay seriously. who wouldn't want a poster of classic box art?
this pic would make a SICK poster for starters.

minus the nintendo logos if need be.

okay okay. i know this one's a long shot. but it's partially a joke too.

Well, I guess it depends how inexpensive we're talking. I think a small paperweight shaped like the old Mega Man helmet would be pretty well-rounded, but that would probably fall a bit more under specialty. If you're going to do shirts, I would suggest either going with something modern (ie. an 8-bit Mega Man on one side of the chest, with kind of a splattered-paint look surrounding the rest of the shirt), or something witty (ie "Down, Forward + B; it's bound to do something"). Honestly, something that might be nice is a cloth-top mousepad. A lot of companies giveaway mousepads, but anyone who plays PC much will tell you, it's cloth-top or bust.


 


Speaking from personal preference, I wouldn't mind seeing some of the DMC swag (ie. Nero's rings, some some of the cooler-designed shirts) making their way to the US in those swag-bags. Also, an idea worth tossing out, since a lot of companies do this with Pre-Order bonuses, is give a code for various games that give access to some form of extra content. Either in the form of exclusive, downloadable costumes (this would work for pretty much any game), or just giving bonuses early. For instance, you might get a code to unlock and play as Akuma early in the new Street Fighter, while everyone else has to unlock him from some grueling means.


 


Anyways, hope this helps out some :D

How about Bionic Commando Dog Tags? This could also work with Guile and Wolf of the Battlefield Commando 3 or could just have the Capcom logo.
