Spyborgs - Review: Official Nintendo Magazine UK

    Monday, September 28, 2009, 01:44 PM [General]

It's always great to read a review when it is clear that a quality amount of time was invested into getting to know the ins and outs of a game before writing about it.  The result (at least what you hope to see) is a comprehensive, fair review based on the merits of the whole product and not an initial impression of the beginning features.

Thanks to the Official Nintendo Magazine UK for giving Spyborgs that kind of time and creating such a fair review.

    Spyborgs - Going up?

    Tuesday, September 1, 2009, 03:48 AM [General]

This is when doing game PR really gets fun.  A site like IGN comes along with a feature like this, one that real gamers love, and we get to be a part of it.  That's just cool.

Thanks goes out to Mr. Mark Bozon for the idea and the opportunity, and thanks to the one, the only Spyborg's Creative Director, Mike Stout, for contributing to the answers.  While the article uses my name more than Mike's, he really deserves at least 51% of the credit.

    Vive l'arrière-plan défilant!

    Spyborgs - We've gone gold!

    Tuesday, August 4, 2009, 03:41 AM [General]

We previously announced Spyborgs' release dates, Sept 29th in North America and Sept 25th in Europe, as we knew it was just a matter of time.  I'm proud to say that time has come.

With the almighty thumbs up from Nintendo for both North American and European versions, Spyborgs is officially approved and off to manufacturing.  Factory line robots are weeping tears of joy as they begin pressing and packaging these cyberneticly enhanced Wii discs.  Never has one looked so good.

A special and personal congratulation to the dev team for the magic they pulled off over the last 12 months to get us here.  The gaming world will soon be a better place thanks to you!

Spyborgs - Official Nintendo Magazine UK (preview)

Preview on Official Nintnedo Magainze UK's site.

    Know Your Foe

Look back in the wake of Bouncer and Clandestine's cartoon-violent romp, meanwhile, and you'll see the constituent parts of many more minor enemies that were equally fun to take down. Giant metal spiders, bionically-armed red chaps, crab-things and a contingent of machine-gun toting cyborgs who clearly failed the Spyborg exams at some point and feel a little bitter about it. It's a brainless parade of interesting things to hit in the face and pull off special moves on, but it also makes for a rather fun, and often reasonably challenging game.
