I have just returned from TNT CON in Mexico City and I am very tired, but also very happy. I hadn´t gone to a Con in ages and I really enjoyed myself.
The place, the Tlatelolco Convention Center, was packed pretty much to capacity. I had to stand in line for about 45 minutes to get in. Inside was so full of people it was hard to move around. There were lots of Naruto cosplayers, but I only saw one person cosplaying as Ryu, and the only cosplayer from the KOF series was a guy dressed as Kim Kaphwan. Of course, I was wearing one of my Cammy T-Shirts, so I was representing, too. And it´s also useful because, since it was difficult being heard over all the noise, all I had to do was point at the illustration on my T-Shirt when asking vendors about Cammy stuff.
I was extremely lucky, too, because I not only found the Cheerleader Cammy from the Capcom Gals set I had been looking for for ages, I also found a Cammy from the Capcom Character Figure Collection that came out way back in 1999! I never even thought I´d ever see that one in person! I also bought two awesome original Cammy statues made by a local sculptor who was selling his own work at the Con. He had statues of many female anime and videogame characters he made himself for sale there, including Chun Li and Morrigan, as well as characters from the DOA and KOF series.
Unfortunately, since I don´t have a camera, or even a cellphone, I was unable to take pics. :( Maybe next time. I´m going to have to start going to Cons again. All in all, I´m very happy to have gone to this one and will certainly be going to more in the future. Maybe some day I´ll get myself that Cervantes costume and cosplay, too. I´ve always wanted to be a pirate...

Dude that is so awesome you went AND had a great time. Next time you can always take pics :)
