What lies in the Void?

There are so many mysteries around the Bermuda Triangle. It's a place we all know about since we are children. Stories and myths abound, all seemingly out of this world...

Now that we know that this is a possible gateway to another universe, the Void, what are your theories about what's in there?

I suspect it's an extra-dimensional repository for Sven's beard trimmings.  When planet Earth could no longer contain them, he was forced to start storing them in the Void, which became a lasting well-spring for eeeeeeeeeeeevil.

best,

Seth

Ask me about my beard.  Or don't.  It's cool either way.

Amelia Earhart.  That would be cool.

And, maybe some chicken guns.

Also, apparently someone's change is in the Void.  Quick!  Send a memo to the developers to add it in the game as an easter egg.  Maybe, we can find it in the game somewhere.  That would be hilarious.

*face palm* LOL

Wow...

"You've armed the chicken gun!"

"You've found someone's change!"

"You've drowned in Sven's beard trimmings!"

I'm done. My serious thread are no longer serious. Undecided

Hahaha.

But, yeah in all honesty.finding Amelia Earhart and Flight 19 (five Navy planes that disappeared  in 1945 on a training mission) would be neat.  Having some good ol' boys from back in the day helping you fight the Watchers would be fun.  I imagine they would still have their old uniforms on.  I don't know how time elapses in the Void, but hopefully much slower than in our dimension.

Bringing this back to a more serious note before our dear OP looses his zeal for life ;)

What exact year is Dark Void set in? I really welcome this thread, because it goes into a direction that I was wondering about for a while now.

We know that Will crashes with his plane in the Bermuda Triangle, which leads to the Dark Void, where he meets the survivors of other disappearances who have formed a resistance against the Watchers who manipulate humanity from their.

Now some questions on my mind are:

 - how do they manipulate humanity? can the take on human form? Have some of our leaders been watchers?

- will we see any actual evidence or hard cases of this manipulation, or is it more "they manipuate humanity, so go kick their ****"

- will we also use human weapons of the time, or just watcher gear?

- (probably most importantly) will we see references to some real cases (I know that most legends surrounding the triangle have been proven wrong, but you know what I mean)? Amelae Earhart (1937), Flight 19 (1945), the Mary celeste (1872) or the USS Cyclops (1918). I think that it would be a horrible waste of narrative potential to just to the very generic route. You could meet the crew of the Cyclops fighting the watchers, maybe under the command of Earhart and Noonan!

I can remember reading on 1Up how Jose Perez III regrets the lack of character development in Crimson Skies on Xbox. I hope that they manage to make the best of this setting!
