i think they need to clear up the whole Donovan Dee thing. Anita should therefore be playable as her older self. I think Zabel should finally get that look after his first ending to spruce things up a bit. Definitely need more mythic creatures with their own distinct personality and moves. I'm tired of seeing a bunch of characters have "slides" that go under fireballs. A wizard or witch (Tabasa/Tessa?) would be welcome. Heck, give us a dragon as a mid boss to fight or something I dunno, but I hope a new Darkstalkers evolves. |

Ya they should put Adult Anita as a playable charcter, give her really powerful phychic powers, also give her a spell book to read and launch spells from. As for Donovan/Dee, give him backround info, redo hie Dee outfit. Have him find who his father is. Or if Capcom makes a new game, just have them give a DMC type game play for it. That way, fans can play as Anita during the time she left Donovan up to the final show down aginst Dee. Then on the seconed disk, have the player be able to play as Donovan threw his struggle aginst his Vampire self. On both disk, both Anita and Donovan should be customisable throughout the game at anytime. Threw out the game for Anita you should be able either buy or find clothes, weapons, spellbooks etc... each weapon, some clothing, and other items should allow her to increase her powers or status accordingly. Some items for example (Succubus ring - grant temporary control over normal men for 2 min), (Incubus Ring - grant temporary control over normal women for 2 min) Can only be used by a phychic like Anita as an (teen - adult). Spellbooks would be found throughout the game as she travels and learns. They would grant her certain powers during gameplay. Also during the game, certain items could trigger what ending for her you get. Example- An evil weapon could turn her dark during gameplay if left attached to her for too long and you have to fight Donovan at the end. If no evil object is used and she remains the way she is, you would have to fight Dee instead of fighting Donovan. Donovan's disk would allow you to purify the evil in him and allowing him to get to fight Dark Anita at the end of his story. If you choose to not purify him and allow him to become Dee, you would have to fight Adult Anita at the end. What do you guys think? |

I for one would like to see Capcom branch-out of the Versus Fighting game mold with action games based on some of the more famous and fan-worthy Darkstalkers characters. Morrigan is probably one of the most popular fan art drawings and cos-played characters there is. Just search for Morrigan (or even Drakstalkers) on devianart or cosplay sites. The Darkstalkers series is probably one of the best IPs that Capcom has ever come up with and I DREAM of the day they come up with something new, prefferably 3rd-person action games a'la God of War, Devil May Cry, Ninja Gaiden & Legend of Zelda. Morrigan and her roster of fantastically unique moves are PERFECT for such a gameplay style. Right now I'd be happy with Capcom porting one of the already-existing Darkstalkers game to XBLA & PSN (probably Vampire Saviour II) and adding things like online versus, online leaderboards & HD graphics filters. I don't expect an HD Remix any time soon, but such a game would be IDEAL for the upcoming 10th anniversary of Darkstalkers. If Vampire Saviour II were to be ported, then things like extra modes such as World Tour, Survivor and a Last-Man Standing are MUSTS, not to mention unlockable art, color pallettes and background stages from the previous Darkstalkers games. So Capcom, what say you?? |

I just hope they keep all 18 characters around. The extra modes you mentioned sound pretty cool. I think they should put in stages from Darkstalkers 1 and Night Warriors. Seriously, I don't want this to be the same as Vampire Hunter 2. To me, Vampire Hunter 2 looks like Vampire Savior except with music from Night Warriors and recolors of Vampire Savior stages to make look it like a different game even though it's not (sorry if this offended anyone).

If a new Darkstalkers game is created, I hope Capcom makes a deal with Namco (my friend told me when Capcom was beginning to make SF4, the president of Namco offered to the graphics for the game but cancelled the offer because the graphic workers for Namco went on strike the exact same day.) to do the graphics for the Darkstalkers game in Soul Caliber 4 graphics. This way, the character would look more realistic while retaining a somewhat cartoonish feel to them. The gameplay should have a SC4 feel mixed with Darkstalkers. Have the ability to create your own Darkstalkers would help alot in the overall replay value. When creating the face of your character, you should be able to choose between the face you want but have the ability to alter the structure of the face to what you want it to look like (Mixed between the SC4 & Smackdow vs Raw create a character option. But the alter the body structure part should be similar to the SvsR game.) Also the ability to change the white part of the eyes & have no piuples Random clothing along with the main Darkstalker clothing should be avalible to unlock or buy in the game. (The ability to mold and alter the basic structure of the clothing should be avalible) Weapons: (Have the option to have up to three weapons beable to become part of your character's body. Ex. Rikuo's Crap pincer/claw or Morrigan's shape shifting wings or even L. Raptor's rib extinding and leg turning into a chainsaw.) (A regular weapon should be avalible if you choose to have one. these include: Swords, Axes, Whip, Daggers, Chainsaw, Bazooka, Gun, Bombs, Bo, spear, Lance etc... These weapons should have the option of change the size & shape of the weapon. Mystic/Magical weapons should be allowed to be used seperatly from your character (Donovan is the main example to this concept) Created character movement should allow you to alter the movement of your character when he or she walks, dashes, retreats, blocks ect...Same thing goes for when creating the basic fighting moves for your character. For special attacks, this option should allow you to either take an already existing attack and alter the attack by either placing the (transformed wings into blade) part to the arm causing you to change to movement of the character to match the new position of the blade to balance it out or change the shape, color or effect of the attack. This also works for other attacks such as projectials. This game should have a create a stage option where we could create our own stages with complete destructable invironments. (I mean come on I know there are those who wanted to blast Demitri or Pyron threw a building, tower, or city?) On the dialog of the created character when he/she wins a match, you should be allowed to say anything on it & not have to worry abouta box telling you you can't say that word or phrase. These words should be allowed to be said: Maim, tourture, kill, destroy, death, Hell etc... The ability to choose a character in the select screen & having the option to beable to change thier costume to a costume you created should be allowed. ALong with being able to create one new attack for each character. Adult Anita should be avalible, Morrigan should have her Soul-Eraser cannon as an alternate selected attack. Lilith should be brought back along with a revised version of her Gloomy Puppet show attack where it shows the button on the right side of the controller but show the sybols of the button enstead of P,MP,HP,K,MK,HK etc... Lilith should still have her Splender Love attack the same way it was in the 2d game only in 3d with SC4 graphics (Capcom, DO NOT CHANGE LILITH'S SPLENDER LOVE ATTACK!!!!)

Wow I hope that most of the ideas that you guys come up with die with you forever. Weapons? Strange spin-off games? Jason? If half the things mentioned here came true it would be the biggest cluster F_-_ of all time. Like some kind of patchwork horror show. You would have effectively ruined DS/VS.
I do want it to get the SF4 treatment but...god...not if it means this... |

The weapons would only be available to characters that were hunters like BB Hood, Hsien-Ko, Donovan/Dee & mabe Anita as an adult or a martal artist like Jon Tailbain. Everyone else would either have claws like Felica or transforming body parts like Rikuo, Morrigan, or L. Raptor. There is nothing in this idea that wasn't already in the past games. My idea was for weapons to be avalible to created characters. Spin off games such as playing as Anita's life during the 10 years of her leaving Donovan to the confrontation aginst Dee would make a good game. It wouldn't ruin DS/VS. This would be benificial to the DS franchise to see if DS could take another road besides a straight forward fighting game. As for Jason, he would be nothin more than a created character. So don't let it get to ya. |

Capcom can think of better ideas than this. Also, Anita vs Dee should be on the next Darkstalkers game, not a spin off.
