Not too long ago I wrote a blog post about the new statues coming from Sota Toys this fall. Our friends at Sota informed me that there is going to be a variant to the already awesome Akuma statue and it will be an exclusive to the Sideshow Collectibles website. As you can see in the picture above it is based on the Shin Akuma design and his eyes light up! It should be out just in time for the holidays. This is a pretty cool shot from the back. I like how it shows his symbol. I can't wait for it to come out.

Our friends at SOTA Toys provided us with some images of three new statues they have in the pipline. This time around they are making an Akuma Statue, and two Cammy's. I have to say that all 3 look really awesome. The Akuma statue is awesome because well it's Akuma 'nuff said. The Cammy statues are 2x awesome because they can combine together! Akuma will be out in October and both Cammy(s) will be out in December. Go to SOTA Toys website for updates and click on the jump for more images.

Get a chance to to talk to Leon, Claire and Chirs! Okay maybe not the actual characters because they aren't real. But it would be really awesome if the were real...awesome and a little scary. I digress. The voice actors from the Resident Evil video games and the CG movie Resident Evil: Degeneration will be appearing at Sacramento's annual anime convention SacAnime on August 29-30. So if you're a fan of the Resident Evil franchise and will be in the Sacramento area then this is the convention for you! Check out the their website for more information.

Not too long ago I made a video testimonial for the web service Capcom Support uses called Fuze. I'm sure many people believe that we have nothing but fun tiimes here playing awesome games like Street Fighter IV and Resident Evil 5. That is true but we actually work very hard here. Between traveling, to making sure that games ship on time to even getting items for the Capcom Store. This all can be very stressing that is why every so often we at Capcom like to unwind as a company and have some fun.

Towards the end of summer we were "kidnapped" and taken to a beach not too far from our office. It was pretty fun, we played volley ball & had a buffet set up for us on the sand.

By the end of the day we were all tired out as shown in these pictures. There is even pictures of Unity regulars Seth, Shawn "Snow Infernus" Baxter and Christian "Sven" Svennson.

I went home with a few pictures of fun times that I won't forget.
