Our friends at SOTA Toys provided us with some images of three new statues they have in the pipline. This time around they are making an Akuma Statue, and two Cammy's. I have to say that all 3 look really awesome. The Akuma statue is awesome because well it's Akuma 'nuff said. The Cammy statues are 2x awesome because they can combine together! Akuma will be out in October and both Cammy(s) will be out in December. Go to SOTA Toys website for updates and click on the jump for more images.
Here are the Cammy statues separate but still awesome!

Behold the magic of network television! Taking a break from their dramatic teen lives in 90210, those cooky kids like to play mock video games with a what appears to be either Zero from Mega Man X series or one of the characters from Mega Man ZX. Check out the video someone posted on youtube and see for yourself. (pause the video 10 seconds in)
Being a big fan of comic books I was ecstatic to find out that I would be working our booth at the 2008 San Diego Comic Con. Before I left for the convention I looked into what other companies would have a booth at the convention like Activision and with their Ghostbusters The Video Game booth shown below.
Cosplayers were not in short supply at the convention. There many different types from manga, comic book, anime, movie, & video game.
I had the honor of meeting Gabe & Tycho of Penny-Arcade at the San Diego Comic Con this year (see picture above). We talked about Street Fighter IV, Gabe's art piece in the Street Fighter Tribute Book & they brought up Age of Booty.
Apparently they both have been playing early builds of the game &
they really like it so far. They have only been playing single player
so they asked about the multiplayer mode. They seemed really excited to
play it. They also said they were impressed by our downloadable titles
overall. This was really good to hear especially from these guys.
Awesome!!!!
People ask me what it is like to work for a game company and I tell them that it's like working in any other office environment. You come to work in the morning, go to your cubicle, turn on your computer & do you work. Then there days when I realize that there is no way the company down the way has nearly this much fun! Walking through office it is not uncommon for me to find some pretty cool Capcom Swag! Like just today I found a pretty cool fan that has LED lights that spell out Capcom when you turn it on.
There is also the Hard Baller VS made of legos which I'm sure many of you know about. I have even been fortunate enough to see all the cool items that we are selling on the Capcom Store. Yesterday somebody who looks a lot like Mega Man from the Star Force series showed up and was seen using Unity. He was also seen getting noogies from Tom aka the Capcom Admin.
