Put on your party hats and get ready to celebrate the 2nd anniversary of the original release of Monster Hunter: World! Starting on January 23rd at 4:00pm PST (Jan 24th 00:00 GMT), we’ll be decking out both Gathering Hubs (Astera & Seliana) to bring out the starry festive spirit in all of us.

Appreciation Fest

The Appreciation Fest (Astera Gathering Hub, all players) reflects the star theme in a more metaphorical way, with super elegant Gala Suits for armor sets, and the Felyne Star set for your Palico exerting full celebrity vibes. And remember to get your daily free Appreciation Fireworks to light up the sky when out hunting some monsters.

Iceborne launched already jam-packed with a ton of content (dozens of monsters, robust “Guiding Lands” endgame, etc.), but that was just the beginning! Between last month’s Rajang update and the additional monster coming this December, we have a more fun, lighthearted update this month!

EDIT on November 7thadded the "BONUS STAGE" section below.

Title Update 11.50 (PS4) / (Xbox One) is available now (scroll down for the full patch notes), with the file size of approximately 400mb, and is a requirement for playing online. So make sure you download it before your play session, and start getting ready for this month’s selection of special Event Quests:

As the headliner for this update, the Raccoon City collaboration

Get ready, hunters! The indomitable Rajang has finally made its way to the New World, and this ruthless beast offers a challenge for even the most experienced hunters … so it’s not a fight that should be taken lightly. I’ll leave it to you to learn more as you set out to hunt it, but in the meantime, wanted to cover a couple of requirements and patch notes for Monster Hunter World: Iceborne version 11.01 (PS4) / (Xbox One).

Rajang Special Assignment Requirements:

  • First, you’ll need to have finished the main story campaign of Iceborne. This means you’ve solved the mystery of the Old Everwyrm.
  • Then, you’ll need to have visited the Guiding Lands at least once.
  • Finally, you can start the Special Assignment (Rajang) by talking to the

Hello Hunters! The console release of Iceborne is upon us, so we wanted to go over some housekeeping items what you need to do to prepare for what’s coming in the next few days.

This blog will be a little on the dry side; trying to focus mainly on the logistical details of upgrading to the Iceborne expansion or Monster Hunter World: Iceborne – Master Edition which includes both the base game and the expansion.

1. Iceborne Release Timing

Monster Hunter World: Iceborne is set for a global release on September 6th, 2019 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, but to get a more precise window of when the expansion will actually be available, please check with your local retailers for the Monster Hunter World: Iceborne – Master Edition physical version, and the time set on your

We’re nearly there, hunters; the final stretch! We just dropped a “shocking” new trailer, our final Beta goes live tomorrow and the game launches in just a week, so this is as good a time as ever to look back and take a full count of every new, returning fan-favorite, Elder Dragon, subspecies, and variant monster we’ve revealed (thus far) for Iceborne.

Just a quick note, we’re only counting the monsters we’ve officially revealed as additions to Iceborne, so this list will not include the vast selection already available in the Monster Hunter: World base game. Alright, let’s get started:

Acidic Glavenus

The regular Glavenus species is getting a revamp for Iceborne, but we also wanted to expand on that concept and try new things. Instead
