This past summer I played Megaman and Bass and loved it. I had beaten 3 of the bosses several years ago but stopped didn't come back to it until recently.
I played it through first with Megaman, I think because I didn't realize how much more powerful Bass could be when I started the game. Eventually I played through with both and found all the CD's (I used Gamefaq's for a handful of them after hours of frustration).
I loved the personality contrast between the two main characters, as well as the fact that they were rivals yet could work together to get King. The game is very well designed in terms of having the levels fit Megman and Bass in different ways and making the experience of playing the game through very different with each.
I would highly recommend getting your hands on it and playing it on a DS or GBA Player (I used a DS). The visuals are nice and the music fits the game well (although I hear the Super Famicom version is better in this respect).
I hope Capcom releases a proper Megaman Collection for Wii owners (since the GCN one is a travesty with controls, includes inferior PSX instead of Saturn MM8) and decides to include a port of the SNES version of this. I would buy it on DAY ONE!!!! It would be the perfect prelude to getting Megaman 9 on Wii.
