Hello everybody, Eguchi here.

I’m glad to hear that last week’s Devroom update got everyone so excited. I’m pretty amped up myself!
 
And so today I want to kick things off just ahead of the Japanese Devroom grand opening by giving you details of our second user participation event!
 
Last week our Web Planner Kinako almost spilled the beans early on this one. But, reading your comments I guess many of you had an idea of what was coming! So how many of you were actually right…?
 
Well here it is! 
The new event to succeed the New Heroine Design Contest will be...
 
None other than the “Bonne Mecha Proposal Rally”!!

Yes, the Bonne Mecha, the various robots used by the Legends series’s very own Bonne Family!

I know most of you have encountered and defeated your share of these adorable mecha before.
Here are some pictures of just a few them.
 

Cool at times, humorous at times, each one the culmination of passionate ideas from our planners, designers, programmers, sound staff, and others!
 
This time we want your ideas for one Bonne Mecha!
 
But wait! This will actually be a little different from boss design contests and rallies for Mega Man we’ve held in the past. There is something I’d like you to glance over be you get started.

Well, what do you think!?
Does that give you an idea of how the game is really shaping up over in the Devroom?
 
I’d like you to take hints from the exchange that took place between Ishihara and myself, and submit Bonne Mecha ideas that are appropriate for the setting described!
 
You’ll be able to submit your ideas in the Devroom very soon. [jgonzo's note: keep an eye on the NA version of the devroom for details on how to submit ideas soon!]

So until then, please think of some ideas for a Bonne Mecha that’ll make our dev team all nod their heads in agreement!
 
That lucky person or persons whose idea we use in the game, will get their name in the game credits! Now that’s not an opportunity that come along every day, so by all means, try to be that lucky person!
 
We’ll also be giving away Zennys and prizes from the Devroom to people whose ideas we use! What’s a Zenny, you ask!? We’ll explain about that next time. [jgonzo's note: The NA devroom may have some slight differences from the Japan devroom, such as naming conventions. You'll find out more soon.]

We know that many of you are dying to find out the answer to that sixty-four-thousand-
dollar question, “When is the Japanese Devroom going to finally open?”
