Though in reports here, Manny is said to have an ear injury and his right had is swollen after the match, he might as well rest for 6 months or more, before engaging in another fight or other activities in the Philippines since any boxing injury without proper medication and consultation with the doctors might affect his career as a boxer.

Manny won against Cotto on the 12th round via TKO. Cotto was running wasn't hitting back.
