Interview with a potential fan: Roger C. Smith

Monday, November 24, 2008, 06:54 PM [Resident Evil]

Roger Craig Smith started his career during college, working as a stand-up comedian, until his agent suggested that he should follow a career as voice actor where, according to the actor, he found more work than he could ever get in stand-up. He’s already worked in successful games and animes such as Metal Gear Solid 4, Medal of Honor, Naruto and Code Geass. By playing Curtis Miller, in Resident Evil Degeneration, and Chris Redfield, in Resident Evil 5, Roger Craig Smith becomes the second actor to impersonate two central characters to the series. The first one was Alyson Court, who played Claire Redfield and Yoko Suzuki.

    Some cheap marketing...

    Wednesday, June 18, 2008, 10:22 PM [REVIL]

Since Capcom gave this space to us, why not use it to promote ourselves??
There are probably some brazilian Resident Evil fans out here, so why don't you guys take some time and visit www.residentevil.com.br, my website with some friends?? By now, you're only seeing the news and a "Under Construction" message, but when it finally goes online (that can happen anytime now), you'll find all sorts of contents about Resident Evil, news and exclusive features, all first-hand.

And not just for brazilian people, here is RevilTV, http://br.youtube.com/user/RevilTV, our YouTube channel with exclusive videos, some of them with subtitles in portuguese. Among other things, in there you can find some interviews with Jun Takeuchi, Wesker's and Ada's Report, some gameplays of beta and trial version of Resident Evil 1 and 2, Biohazard 4D Executer and much more.

The brazilian Resident Evil community needs diversity, and that's exactly what we are looking for.
Thank you very much. See you guys around Capcom-Unity.

    Hello

My sources come from Capcom IR's website. They have a Platinum Games section where they list every million selling game.

You can look at the list here:

    ir.capcom.co.jp/english/d...

Sales figures from other games not listed sometimes come from press releases that Capcom makes public. You have to seek them out because the media doesn't always report them in their respective websites.

I don't use VGChartz, because their numbers are basically estimates and not really numbers based on actual sales.

Well, they claim their numbers come from retail sales but if you ask Sven here at Capcom-Unity, he will tell you that their numbers are just estimates and nothing more.

Hope that information helps you and your site.
