i dont know who knows about it and who doesnt but heres my 2 cents..
i caught sight of a remake of one of my favorate games of all time, Dragon Warrior/Quest 4 coming to the NDS. also another game coming to the NDS is Chrono Trigger. as well as Dragon Warrior/Quest 5 going onto the DS too. theres even more games from the golden ears when people played for storyline more than grafix and when games were focused on using the players imagination to put them into the world in the played games..but heres my 'beef' with it..
from what ive seen all the good games from way back when are going onto the NDS. im not saying that they shouldnt put them on there. but what is it about the PSP that is keeping the game companies from putting games onto it? most of the games on the psp are sports games that i've never seen anyone buy or even heard anyone say is a good game..just the same id still not buy one because id rather play sports games out on the field or court. but thats besides the point.
if game companies see a platform is failing they run to a different platform. and when the platform dies they say its because the system was crappy or no one bought it or what ever it be. if no one buys the platform its because the games they are interested in are put onto different consoles and thats what contributes to the consoles decline. in turn, its not the consumer that is at fault--not entirely anyways. it begins with the publisher for not being either diverse or taking the risk to pull players to the console.
