I would maybe like some sleep.
Battle for the Allspark v2
So with the new Transformers movie coming out one can figure there will be a lot of stuff to promote it (commercials for commercials...weird, huh?).
One such promotion is the Battle for the Allspark game. It's pretty simple: make an Autobot or Decepticon, find others, battle them. Very, very simple. Hardly even a game, but for some goddamn bizarre reason I cannot stop playing it.
I'm an Autobot named Fiffis (couldn't think of a really, really good original Transformer name...eh...whatever). Find me and we can battle (unless you are also an Autobot).
Check it out if you're into robots in disguise.
Robots, Zombies, Dinosaurs and Death
I love Transformers.
I love Resident Evil.
I love Jurassic Park.
I love Billy and Mandy.
Just some of the things I love.
H1N1 Outbreak *IMPORTANT*
So this is bad. Very, very bad.
New flu virus is killing people. And it's spreading all over the world. And the CDC says that it could become a pandemic. Check out PigFluMap.com for a world map of outbreaks and latest news. Crazy **** to say the least.
I mean...there are no vaccines for this new flu. And no real way to contain it because all that's known is that it's passed person to person. And it seems to have killed more young, healthy people than the usual kids or old people. So bad. So very, very, very bad.
It's happened before too. In 1918. More than 50 million people died worldwide from it.
Hell people...the CDC is worried. Real worried.
So now I'm worried. Real worried.
Fear That Was Placed In Another Game
I started playing Dead Space for the first time last night. Got to about chapter 3 and started falling asleep (it was 5:00 in the morning and I had been up since 6 in the morning). I gotta say that game is goddamn amazing. The tension, the atmosphere, the fact that when standing around I look around in my area nonstop. The enemies are definitely odd and I like the fact that you have to shoot off their limbs. Very nifty.
For the past week or so I had been reading (or rather watching) the Dead Space comic and it's prequel movie Down Fall. The story for this series is pretty solid. I'm immersed in the space terror.
Playing this game really makes me wish that RE6 was closer around the corner and maybe would learn a few things from its new brethren/competition. Like for instance the game being scary. Compare the two games and RE5 is like Harvest Moon (in terms of "fear"). Don't get me wrong...I love RE5. I love the story. I love the graphics. I love the characters, the action, the exploding heads, the barrels, the devastating Reapers and of course, Wesker. Dead Space has none of this. Of course, neither does Silent Hill and I love that ridiculous series too.
I look forward to Dead Space: Extraction for the Wii this fall and any other parts of the Dead Space saga. With this said, if I ever had to choose one...Resident Evil has nothing to worry about.
In other news...why the hell isn't the original Dragon Ball easier to access on DVD? Huh? And what about Transformers G1? C'mon world...I want this **** on DVD now (I am aware that they are on DVD...just where?).
I am also aware that last part wasn't news at all.
