Hi folks. Not a tech guy at all. Just downloaded Flock, and when I try to open it, I'm getting a generic Windows "encountered a problem" message. Uninstalled and installed three times without success. Running on a PC, Windows XP Professional. Advice appreciated! Flucked. |

Yup. Done both. No change. |

Hmm, and your drivers are all up to date? Maybe try running the game with -t parameter? |

Installed the game onto another machine, and got the same problem - it crashes straight away. The machines are a few years old, but I haven't had a problem with any other program before. Happy to persevere here, but I'm not particulalry tech-literate. Are there any drivers you suggest I should check? And you'll have to explain the "-t parameter" to me. |

Create a new shortcut to "C:\Program Files\Capcom\FLOCK! Demo\Flock.exe" -t That should run it in a window -- which a few people have reported helps when fullscreen crashes. Don't forget to install directx9 on your new machine as well, even if you think it's already got it -- there's new files in the March redistributable! If that fails you can also try: -q to disable sound -m to enter "low-detail" mode |
