Running March 2009 version of DX. Latest nVidia graphics and chipset drivers...

Up to date according to steam.

It was alright a week or 2 ago (before the updates), but now it just crashes (window not responding) and using a full core at 100% before it even displays anything on screen

Some positive: good fun game you've created :). I was after going to finish some more levels and get some steam achievements for some exam stress relief :P

Not sure what else you might want to know.. Just ask and i'm sure i can help and answer :)

Thanks!

That post doesn't show on pastebin - can you re-post your DXDiag?

To see if you are missing an error message when running full-screen, try forcing the game to run in a window by launching with the "-t" option (from the Windows command-prompt or by creating a shortcut and adding the -t parameter).

Seems i fail, and presumably set a 1 day expiry time.

Will try the -t...

I already had it in window, just to maximised to one monitor..

-t makes no difference.. Though there are 2 FLOCK items in the task bar, one says not responding, and the other doesn't..

Steam verifies the game files fine..

Maybe it's the same problem as this user's issue?  Try disabling the cdkey popup

Wow, that is weird.  Well, at least it's sorted now.  :)

The game has worked before but after the new update today it's popping up this message that is really starting to annoy me.
I kept relaunching over and over, checked to not display key again, and it still does not work!

I get this pop-up:

Quote:
A required security module cannot be activated.
This program cannot be executed (6000).

Please have a look at www.securom.com/message.asp?m=module&c=6... for further, more detailed information.

Launch Analysis (done many times)     |    OK

Did you try doing the things on the page it links to?  Failing that, try sending them an analysis file and see what they suggest.

I also tried reinstalling the game, and it still fails to load for me popping up that same SecureRom crap.

Here's my DxDiag: flock.pastebin.com/m76f43a4
