Oh, you said date, not week. But yeah, it's just that Michael Jackson is the most famous of the group of celebrities that died this week. OH! I should also mentioned it was a heart attack that killed Billy Mays, but it'll be awhile before the full report is complete. |

Pitchmen is like my favorite show at the moment. He will be missed. Think of how big of a blow the direct response industry will take from the loss of their top pitcher.

An actor named Karl Malden died today at 97 years old. Not a shocking death, but still, 5 celebrities this week.
If a lot of people do nothing, does that mean there's a lot of nothing?

Ed McMahon (Star Search, Announcer and sidekick on the tonight show among other stuff) Also David Carradine, he was Bill in Kill Bill. Also one of the main characters in the old TV show "Kung Fu" As someone said, Karl Malden (old acting legend, he was in a streetcar named Desire) Others of note that died this month: David Eddings, Fantasy author I have a couple of his books (Magician's Gambit) Lorena Gale (who played Priestess Elosha on Battlestar Galactica) World's oldest man died (at age 113) then again "world oldest" is a title that changes hands a lot for obvious reasons. |
