It's for the Wii because it's rumored that the remote will be used as sort of a paintbrush, yes, similar to Okami.

That is the November issue of Game Informer, which received a make-over. They said it should be arriving around October 13th. Once I receive the issue, I'll post the juicy info. Edit: Oh, seems like Eurogamer has some 1st info about the plot & such.
