My ps2 slim system is having trouble loading games.  When I reach the actual gameplay it's working fine.

When it comes to those loading screens it takes longer than usual to move on.  Sometimes it stays stuck on the load screens in the video game. 

I also hear some sort of sound over and over again like as if it's unable to move on to the next part of the CD

Plus in cinematic (cutscenes) the music skips every once and a while.

Has anyone else ever expericend something like this?

Clean it.

Dust Off or any can of air, just make sure you're blowing dust away from the system.

If you have a vacuum with a hose attachment or a mini vac, those work wonders.


If you have both, you can use cans of air and a vacuum to suck all the dust that your blowing everywhere. That's what I do often to keep my PS2's alive.

PS2 is only a hundred bucks, buy a new one if you need to.
