Ive been playing the game for a few days now and all I can say is wow!! I like cell shaded games, always have, but damn this is awesome. Its strange I did not like Fallout 3 but I love this game. Its a nice blend of Mad Max, a typical western/cowboy movie and a Gorillaz video with character introductions like the movie Snatch. What do you all think? Is anyone else playing this?

I've been hooked since I've played the game and it also attributes to my absence here, haha. The abilities and multiple amounts of arsenals(More than 5 warehouse full) are some characters that tick in this game. Like you, I find Borderlands much more convenient and exciting as compared to Fallout 3. Trying to stop is a pain because there is just so much to do and explore. Co-op is as fun. Having three random or close teamates by your side creates a grand and interactive atmosphere ingame. Although it's much easier to snatch weapons and money rather than for it to distribute to everybody, I can't help but feel like a jerk "stealing" money or weaponry whenever a comrade turns their back. I guess that's what the duels are for! I've only spent at least 10 hours in 3 days and the wide variety in Borderlands lures me back in every time. So for those who haven't tried the game , get out of your seat and pick a character! Also, the 4 eclectic characters add a plus to the co-op.

I've been playing it quite a bit and have fallen in love with it. It's got a lot of things going for it that strike my fancy. Enough so to make me spend all last weekend getting all the achievements. If any of you wanna play, just hit me up on XBL, Snow Infernus

Awesome game. I've already maxed out the 1000g gamerscore, but it was alot of fun doing it. I think there is room for some more depth in the inevitable sequel. Deeper story, better quests, and more environmental/enemy variety would be nice but for a new IP its tops.
Now Playing: Halo 3: ODST, Halo 3, Need for Speed Shift, Call of Duty 4, Battle Stations Pacific.

Absolutely fantastic game, and beautifully realized.
Hopefully Capcom puts out a game in this "RPG-Shooter" genre *hint hint* :) |
