Hmm, I thought they would have made Shogun vs Lyoto sooner, since thats the vibe they gave off in the post-fight conference. The only thing they meant I guess, is that neither of them would be fighting other fighters in between. Sucks.

Tonight was Mike Brown vs Jose Aldo for the WEC championship. I dont think Ill post much about the results, since many may not have seen the fight here yet. WEC doesnt get as much press and exposure unless Faber is in it and it doesnt have as many big stars in each WEC event like UFC does.

mmascraps.com should have ti up eventually. Thats the first site I go to for my media fixes. They get it so quick and never fail to deliver.

I forgot all about the WEC show. I've been busy with getting info on other MMA promotions and downloading pictures. Still, i should have known about it sooner. As for the Lyoto/Shogun rematch, i agree with what you're saying. They really should have it sooner than this. This isn't like a Boxing match you know.

I think I read some where that the reason its so late is that both are recovering from some injuries.  I think Machida has a hand injury he is trying to get healed.

I wasn't able to see UFC 106, but i did see the Super Six boxing match-up between Mikkel Kessler and Andre Ward. If anyone's a hardcore UFC fan, please don't judge me, okay? I have the full results of UFC 106 on my new blog, by the way.

Andre looked very good.  Very Mayweatherish. Too fast, slipped punches, accurate punches = total domination.  Ward or Abraham will win the whole thing I think..... wait I just said I wasnt going to make any more fight picks.  Damn I probably just jinxed them both and now Jermain Taylor will win all of his fights.

ok back on topic.

I read some funky things happened in that Rumble Johnson Koscheck fight.  Johnson landed an illegal knee in the first then Koscheck accidentally poked him in the eye twice in the second.  Koscheck has also call out Dan Hardy saying he doesnt deserve a title shot because he hasnt beat any one like him.  What do you think about possible Hardy vs Koscheck?
