That is ironic that it didnt do too well in Japan. Well maybe it didnt do well b/c they regarded the Amaterasu as a wolf when from what I remember she wasnt an animal at all. I think she was actually just an elder but a very powerful immortal. I think that this game does sound very interesting indeed. If anything, Ive seen more movies and games based off of Greek/Roman and Ancient Egyptian mythology than Japanese. So I thought it was rather cool that Amaterasu was used for this game. I'll have to do more research on this game cuz now I am interested in other characters involved and if they too are immortals part of the Japanese pantheon. :D
