    Gah, schools boring today

    Tuesday, October 7, 2008, 01:13 PM [General]

I'm on my hour and a half break between my classes, and am bored out of my mind. Plus I don't have my usb controller to play games on my laptop, I can't use the keyboard I've found it too hard. I think I need some coffee.

I guess my E tank would be coffee. Hey this is a good idea for a thread. I'm going to create it now.

I love this forum too much. It's become as addicting as a Mega Man game.

    My initial blog post

    Sunday, September 21, 2008, 03:25 PM [General]

In anticipation of the upcoming Megaman 9, I decided to play through my favorite of the nes megaman games, Megaman 2. Wow that was odd saying Megaman three times in one sentence. Anyways, Megaman 2 was my childhood. I used to play that game more than any other game I had. Sadly as time went on and I wanted new games, I sold my nes and Megaman 2.

About 8 months ago I decided to get back to my gaming roots, and strictly collect retro games and systems. I hunted down a nes at a local thrift store, and then had to get a copy of megaman 2. Once I finally got, that's all I played for about a month. There is no other feeling than playing your childhood favorite when you've grown up and probably enjoy it more than you did as a kid. With Megaman 9 coming out tomorrow, i think I've played through all 6 on the nes, and have played 2 at least 5 times.

When it was announced that Capcom was releasing megaman 9, I was so giddy. Then when it was announced it would be in 8-bit, I really got giddy. Now that the time has come for it to finally be released, my anticipation can finally go away and get a new favorite video game.
